Convenient, that's after my birthday, and that's normally when I have an abundance of money.

It's cool that he has both insignias, and that they're both red. Meaning he's both an Autobot and a Shattered Glass Decepticon.

He's currently in the Shattered Glass universe:

Has anybody seen a picture of the new gestalt head yet? I'd think that they'd be promoting that since it's renewal time. And since they still have Landquakes and Topspins and everyone else available a cool new head picture might get all of those people who incessently bitch about having to join the Club some reason to shut up and buy the damn things.

Members should have expected to receive this figure in late spring/early summer, but due to a factory error and shipping delays, it won't arrive until late summer or early fall.

Fixed.

Unless they make it cheaper for international members, I just can't renew.

$90 US, when all I want is the bimonthly magazines is, unfortunately, out of the question.

Don't renew until your last day to do so.

If your renewal date is the 5th and you renew on the 3rd, your new renewal date becomes the 3rd, you lose the difference in days.

That's the breaks of an antiquated system... :?

A frank question for anyone already a club member: "Is it worth it?"

I thinking of joining, but I too would have to pay overseas membership prices.

No, not really.

If you were in the US, then yes, it is worth joining. International members pay far out the ass and don't really get any true benefit. The way I understand it, you can get all the Club merchandise from BBTS at their inflated prices and it will still be cheaper than the Club.

Yeah? Maybe I shouldn't then. The figures tend to end up for sale here in collectors' stores at only slightly ludicrous prices anyway.

Thanks for your quick and frank response.

Having a little trouble renewing my membership, never done it before. Mine's due to expire March 5th, so I really wanna be sure I get it renewed in plenty of time.

Everytime I try, it brings up a page from which to choose the mailing type. It says "This is considered a new membership. If you are a member and wish to renew your membership, please click here to login."

If I "click here," all it does is reload the same page, with the same message as above. I'm rather confused.

I signed up when I sent in my reg for Botcon. That was about a week ago. Still no confirmation yet, you think they'll get through all the botcon regs by that date?

You can still join now, it's just that the exclusive figure you will get "free" with the membership will be the 2010 figure now. You can still purchase the 2009 figure on the member store for whatever price they sell them at (probably 20 or 30 dollars) sny time you get that money.
