This is more for the Northern California posters, but as the topic states, would I still be able to find TF Universe Prowl and Sunstreaker in stores. I know it has been a bit over 6 months since they hit retail, but I was curious to know if they were still on the shelves. I saw a few during the holiday rush, and I'm kicking myself for not picking these up sooner. I know I can still get them online, but I'm trying to lay off using the ol' credit cards for the meantime. Thanks guys.

I actually haven't seen either since about a month before Christmas, around here. There's one place that still has some Sideswipes and Silverstreaks, but not Prowl or Sunstreaker.

I went to a Target & TRU today, & saw neither. All I saw was a bunch of Animated & a Universe Cheetor. Not much of the first wave is left in my area.

Yeah as bountiful as they were from the time they came out and through the next couple of waves, they are definately starting to become scarce now...

Thanks guys, I just caved and got them off of bbts. I'm pretty caught up now.

my local TRU still has a couple Sunstreakers, but no Prowls, or even Sideswipes. It all varies from store to store, depending how much they ordered and whats on display versus whats stuck in the backroom.

All in all, if you want them, it might be easier to go ahead and order them online from hasbrotoyshop or bbts. You might still find them in stores in your area, but if you keep looking and don't find them, you'll be kicking yourself once they aren't available online either. I say, if you haven't seen them by now, order them online, and put your troubles to rest.

I see you've already ordered them, but I'll offer my comment for others who may be looking for these.

There is a good chance that Prowl and Sunstreaker can still be found at Kmart, as they are usually known for having older figures.

And if you keep looking, you might just come across them at Wal-Mart, Target, or Kohl's. Especially in smaller towns.

Oh yeah. They actually have a pretty good selection. If there's one near you, check 'em out.

May not be as big as it was during the holidays, but I've seen stuff there a full month before the other stores. At least in my area. They could have some of the older stuff too.

I'm so going to check out Kohls this weekend I had no idea...

I was in my local K-Mart last night and they had plenty of Swipe, Prowl, Galvatron and Streak, but they haven't gotten anything past that.

I'm trying to find Sunstreaker and Prowl myself, here in Northeastern PA I've been to 2 different Walmart's, Toys R Us, a Target, and even a Kmart, haven't seen any. There was 1 Sideswipe at one of the Walmart's so I snatched him, didn't see him anywhere else. Maybe they'll get some more of those 2 in.

Also been trying to find Tankor (Octane), I dunno, he just looks cool, and I love his colors, grey, purple, blue and black, haven't seen any of him.

i still need to pick up Galvatron, but i haven't seen him anywhere around my area for a long time. i don't know.......... a bunch of people on this site say he is a crappy figure. i would still like to pick him up though.

Galvatron looks cool on display, but if you're fixing to play with him a lot, I personally don't think he's that great. But again, he looks nice standing on a display shelf.

As for Prowl and Sunstreaker, it seems every other time I go to Target or Walmart or Kmart I see one of them each, but I think I've seen more PRowls than Sunstreakers. I reckon they are still out there somewhere.

I think I saw a Prowl today at a K-Mart.

Tankor (aka Octane) looks cool but that is the ONLY cool thing about that toy.

Yup wally and target have em by me.

I still see Sunstreaker her in WA at my WM, but Prowl has been replaced by Bluestreak/Smokescreen. If I see one, I'll pick it up for ya.

Actually this could be applied nationwide. I haven't seen Prowl or Sunstreaker lately until the other day when I saw Prowl at Rite Aid for about $17. I bought him even though I already have a Prowl cause I'm planning to customize him into Jazz. Also Prowl is on sale at BBTS for a little under $8.

Actually I just saw 1 Sunstreaker at Target. All the rest of the Universe deluxes were the normal, Cyclonus, Hound, Dinobot, Smokescreen, and Cheetor that are out right now. So, I guess he is out there still, but he is getting scarce.

Bear in mind I'm in BC Canada but we still have em in Walmart here, and also at Toy Traders in Langley (I work there part time - great place)
