Anyone else have super-loose Starscreams?

I just got Universe Starscream about a week ago (along with Cyclonus and Hound), and i was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problems. his legs, shoulders, and wings are all terribly loose. I have had Acid Storm for a long time now, and he still is about as tight as when i took him out of the package. Is there mold degradation, or am I just unlucky?

It is hit and miss. My Acid Storm has one wonky shoulder, but my starscream is probably the tightest of my seekers. Better than my original classics one and much better than my original skywarp who seems to like doing the splits.

My original Starcreams shoulder is pretty loose, the null ray doesn't want to stay in the hole...

Mine's arms and wings are a little loose.

If you mean "Toon Accurate" Starscream, then for the most part mine's okay - the wings are a little loose, though.

Mine's actually really good. Just as good as my original actually.

I wouldn't say mine's tight, but it's not loose either. He can hold a pose but is easily manipulated.

mine has a loose wing as well. and one of the null rays wont stay in too well either....the legs are a little loose too, he insists on doing the splits. i'm actually quite side, because i love this mold, and i love the colors on the toon acurate version... i might get another one and leave this one in seeker mode.

=(

The problem with the right shoulder not holding the cannon is a problem from the original Classics SS. It isn't mold degradation there. The loose joints I don't know about - mine is fine but you can fix loose shoulders by tightening the screw and fix the hips with superglue.

The arms, null-rays, and wings are really loose on mine. Not enough that he can't hold a pose or anything, but I am worrie about the guns staying on his arms all the time.

The wings on mine seem a little loose, but I haven't had my old version out in a while, so I'm not sure if they're degraded or not. Other than that, the new one seems nice and tight, right armhole notwithstanding, but as already stated, that's an issue the original has as well.

The figure I have real degradation issues with is Sideswipe. He's flipping and flopping all over the place compared with my Sunstreaker. Even his head is super loose, which makes no sense since it's a new head mold... The plastic feels a lot cheaper too.

come to think of it, my Sideswipe is kind of the same way. i passed up Sunstreaker, but maybe if i see him i should get him for a comparison. i knew i shoul have picked him up earlier, since the prices went up again. on a side note, a wal-mart worker told me that prices might go back to 7.77 again in about six months.

My Universe SS is fine. Sounds like you got a dud.

I would like to add to this post about super loose Starscream. I bought mine around the beginning of January and finally got a chance to open him to create a new picture for signature and his wings, arms, fists and nullray is so freakin loose and his head isn’t painted completely black and there’s kinds paint markings on his body, like a 2 year old painted it. Anyway, going to return him back to walmart and get my money back and go to Target pick him up there for $8.99 instead of ridiculously amount of $12.88.

that might be a plan. it sucks that it is that way. it sounds a lot like my SS.

Yeah mines got loose joints. The right wrist and left knee. Also the back wings feel odd. Hard to describe but compared to the past iterations of the figure they feel different and not in a good way. Also does any one know what chest mold was used? It looks different than the one used for Acid Storm and the original Classics Starscream.

My Uni Starscream is OK: not tight, but not loose.

My Stealth Lockdown, on the other hand, is practically a rag doll.
