Allspark.com- Just recently, Henkei Cyclonus was released in Japan, and online stores like site sponsor BigBadToyStore.com have been filling pre-orders, shipping out this fan favorite character. The Allspark has put up page scans from the included Manga featuring Cyclonus, Nightstick, Galvatron, Starscream, and host of Autobot targets for them.

You can check out the Manga gallery here.

When comparing the HASBRO Universe Cyclonus to the Henkei version you can see that the Henkei version features a color scheme similar to the cartoon colors, as well as, some chrome on Nightstick while the HASBRO version has colors that closer resemble the original Generation 1 toy colors. So there is a version for either deco that a collector might like to have.

Okay, so we know that Cyclonus is pretty much the same character as his G1 version, but what about Nightstick? Is he the same as his G1 version, but evil?

His G1 self came with Stepper/Ricochet and was named Nebulon. so could this be him under Cyclonus' influence?

if you're talking purely Japanese G1 then:

Stepper had a Targetmaster partner called Nebulon. Cyclonus has a Targetmaster partner called Nightstick. They look a little similar, but that happens when you're dinky robots that turn into guns. Two different characters.
