Are you unsatisfied with your MP Roller? Eager to spice up MP Prime’s life? You are in luck. Third party Transformers maker and newcomer, iGears, is taking their swing at MP Roller. You may be asking yourself, another version? Why?

TF08.net has posted information about this new development here.

According to iGears:
Reason for Design Idea
MP01 and MP04 don't seem to fit nicely alongside the battle rollar, a G1 classic accessory.

Design main facts: MP01 will be the basis of design. G1 will used as a guide, with maintaining the good points of THS02.

The following are the current design ideas:
1) the wheels will be made in rubber
2) the wheels will be able to turn and have suspension function
3) more metallic materials will be used
4) headlights will made to be lit up
5) the battle rollar will follow MP01 colour scheme, the paint will be similar
6) more details will be added to the battle rollar, to fit the realistic nature of MP series
7) more details to be added

We'll keep you posted with updates.

This sounds like it could be the best version yet, although Battle Rollar has more play value it really doesn't fit the look. I'm still not going to be buying this version though, I stopped pushing cars around the floor years ago.

While I wonder if there's much more need out there for another Roller, especially a premium version, I’ll hold off my judgment of this until I see the final product. It does sound nice and I don’t have a Roller yet and would like to add one to my collection some day.

Bad move making niche accessories with 2 viable competitors in the market.

Maybe they'll drive each other down to affordable levels.

I guess we have to wait to see some pictures and see how expensive he is to make up our minds.

best bet for the value...

Sure, it's not all crazy accessorized, but Battle Rollar is really not in the MP line style and he does not fit properly into the trailer.

Let's stop the speculation. All this is is a blown up vesion of the THS02 Roller.

I feel exactly the same way! I wanted a Roller for my MP-04 but 1. I didn't want him to transform (since when does Roller transform??) and look more in line with the movie figures than the MP line, and 2. I didn't want a blown up version of the mainly one-piece, boring G1 version. I loved the THS-02 version and wished they had made an official version for the MP-04 set based on that. This is sounding to be a perfect balance of everything.

Huh, well if this ends up being nicer then the other Rollar and not too expensive I'll probably get it.
