65 dollars for TFA-themed Homies? Impossible Toys need to spend more time looking at their product manufacturing. If they cannot find a way to produce these in a way that makes the set affordable and yet still profitable, they shouldn’t be making them to begin with. If you factor in shipping, that pushes these to about 24 dollars apiece.

Even if these were $10 for the set it would be a hard sell as they just don't look all that great. Especially when you compare them to the high quality fan-made toys that have been coming out lately. At the price they're at now, this a definite NO.

$65?

Wow. I'll be interested to find out who has so much money to burn that they actually drop three Voyagers worth of cash on these.

If I was getting the exchange rate that I was a year ago I'd consider these at that price. With the GBP currently being down the crapper though I'm willing to wait and see what these end up reduced to because I really can't see them selling out for that kind of price. It'll be worth watching ebay when these start showing up to see what people are actually willing to pay.

If Animated is cancelled, we'll see these for free with ten bucks strapped on.

I'm in agreement with everyone else. As much as I'd like to get them to go with the rest of the line I can't justify $65 for 3 two inch figures that don't appear to be of very high quality. I have a feeling we will see these on clearance in the near future, that or Impossible Toys will be sitting on a lot of inventory.

This is the kind of stuff thats been getting on my nerves.
Interesting items that Hasbro themselves should have thought to produce, such as the Ultra Magnus armor, the Prime trailers, and even these tiny figures are left to third parties who have to charge an arm and a leg due to limited production costs.
If Hasbro had the vision to produce these things themselves, everyone could have them at a reasonable price, but as it stands, only the lucky few will have them.
And actually, given the way these TFA figs look, even six bucks would have been a stretch. They would have looked much better if Hasbro had bothered to produce them.

Is the picture bad? I have to imagine the figures look better in person....a shame really because with that price me and Sari will never meet in person.

I think that a lot of people here will disagree with you on some of the examples you've given. A lot of the fans here base products either from Has/Tak or from a third party based on quality and value. That's the reason the City Commander set is sold out. And it's why in 6-8 months, they still won't be able to give these horrid Animated humans away.
Personally, I think that if Hasbro had tried to do the City Commander armor, it wouldn't have been half as cool and the paint job would have been lousy.
