Question Re: Classics Megs/Prime 2 pack

I just picked up the Prime (RM-looking mold) & Megatron (tank) 2-pack at Target, as it was on clearance for $10.
My question is in regards to Prime's "punching" gimmick. I pressed in on the button on his back, and his upper torso spins around and around in circles... Is he supposed to punch like this? He has no posability this way, as there's nothing to keep his torso in one place (like the ratcheting waist on the Reissue Beast Wars Megatron a little while back)...
Is my Prime broken? Should I rush back to Target & pick up another one before the last few sell out?

From what I hear they all work that way.

There's a small black switch on Optimus' backside, click it in place and you can lock his chest in place for the most part.

But is his upper torso supposed to ratchet into place, or is it supposed to be floppy & loose (when not using the punching gimmick)?

Nope, it's supposed to spin wildly out of control. Seriously.

It should ratchet into place. If you give the black button several short pushes you can make the torso spin multiple times. You can lock the torso in place by pulling the button out all the way (I just did it too). Be careful as I'm sure there is a danger of pulling too hard and pulling it completely out. You don't want to do that.

BLACKSTREAK: You are my new (shortlived) hero... I didn't realize that the tab pulled out further than I was trying to, I mean, I didn't want to snap the tab off or anything!
He is working perfectly fine now... I just had to pull on the black tab a lot harder than I had thought I'd have to! But it worked!!!!
*phew!* Thought I'd have to run back to Target for sure there...
Thanks again!!!

ok, so are you gonna give us a mini review of this set or
what?
plez don't forget the dvd as well.
so far, I have heard ONLY NEGATIVE things,
seems like you might have some positive things to say
which would be refreshing!
the reason why I didn't get this set:
1) you know me, if it ain't mini-con compatible that is a
HUGE BIG GINORMOUS minus!
2) and Meg's gun arm and OP's blaster looked kinda....
unappealing.
ok those are my 2 cents.

Both, then the lever is out, it spins wildly, when the lever is clicked back, it can ratchet.
