Why can't the Titanium line do justice to Megatron?

I just opened Titanium War Within Megatron (not the GiJoe version).
Grrr... He was in four pieces before I even removed the twist-ties. Some joints are too loose (had to break out my screwdriver to tighten him up). Alt mode is a joke with little playability. The front falls off and shoulders unfasten at the slightest touch.
I know Titaniums are hit and miss. I'm only getting War Within figures. The Fallen is awesome - my favorite so far. War Within Ultra Magnus is an improvement over WW Prime because of better paint (still floppy). Scourge and the WW seekers, even Rodimus Prime and RID Prime are much better figures.
Titaniums seemed to be improving, then they release this crap Megatron.

It took 23 years to get a Megatron that resembled his G1 televised counterpart in both bot and alternate modes.
Don't hold your breath.

I really like WWI Megatron, actually. The shoulder pieces do come loose real easy but I think it's an all around good toy. I don't know, maybe I'm just easy to please, but I think they did a good job with this one. Not the best of the Titaniums, but with this line in general it's always been hit or miss. Then again, I seem to like the ones everyone else hates. I like Jetfire and this Megatron, and I like Soundwave too and have no problems with his 'diaper'.
BTW, got WWI Sunstorm and his paint job is excellent.

Why can't any line do justice to Megatron?
In the last 10 years, the only Megatrons I've seen that look and feel like a 'Megatron' have been the Beast Wars, Energon and Classic versions (and the Masterpiece one).
RiD, Armada, Cybertron, Titanium, Movie... those Megs are just bad. I don't think the Titanium Megs are isolated cases.

I don't know, I like the RID Megatron a bunch. Armade, Cybertron and Energon Megatrons were much better as Galvatrons though, but the molds are cool. Cybertron Megatron is a little hookey, but the silver Galvatron is real nice.

I also like the WW Megatron. I even like the fact that it was almost sectional because he came apart as I was trying to free him from his cardboard tomb. Saved me like 20 minutes of untwisting! So far its been hit or miss with the line but isn't that always true of toylines? Look at Marvel Legends!

That's my view, too. It must be fact!

I can't like the Titanium line. I had a lot of hope for it, but it's just a flat out disaster. I mean, rodimus was the only good one, and he wasn't all that either.
