I'm still confused about the case assortments after Bonecrusher popped-up here in the States. I suppose there are going to be multiple assortments available at once as opposed to the usual quick rotations due to the shorter window? Is that the case with the Hasbro Spiderman 3 figures?

I wonder what store he went to that had these, because if it's a major store chain and it is here in the US, I must go and look...

many statewide store already have them in the back. I know this for a fact because of my trip to walmart after spidey 3 today. They got the protoforms with the walmart exclusive poster, which has a big tage on it, May 1. they took the unopened case, and put it on a pallet with unopend classics devestator and the alternators, and like 8 cases of movie delux figures waves 1 and 2.
im guessing thw wave 1 is the protoforms.
anyway, i tried to get some tuff off of said pallet, and got told its all for june 2nd. i tried to tell them that a huge hunk of it was not for june2nd, that it is supposed to be already out, specificly the box that says MAY friggen 1 on it, and they told me sorry, they just restocked tfs anyway. i go and look and guess what
? they finaly put out the christmas classics display pallet, which had been sitting in the back too. and they even found some wave 1 cybertron, go figure.
ok, rant over, wally world sux, go italy, lucky basterds.
oh well, right now im just wanting bumbles and barricade anyway

We just got the protoforms in NY. So that means we wont see these figures untill june 2nd. Why cant they be released early here too? Damn stores. Im sure June 2nd will come around and they wont be on the selves. The stores around here dont stock up well. I was surprised that the Protoforms were out on time. I guess its because no one has re-stocked tfs in a while.

Wasting no time at all I see.
They're not bad figures, just not up to my expectations after the Classics line. Then again, I doubt few lines will ever meet that bar again...

Classic toys were "classic" TFs without any invasive gimmick. Movie toys are bonded to a particular style, see Ratchet for example. I guess it's a marketing problem.
