Just wondering. I had a lot of cool tfs when i was little, which my dad ended up throwing away when i got a lil older!

i know for a fact I broke my Swoops beak off. (not on purpose)! I think everyone did though

I tormented my Insecticons and put them in the bathtub, and all the stickers eventually melted off. Laserbeaks head eventually fell off too from rough playing. at least i wasnt one of those kids who chewed thiers. i hated that. lol..

(not me..lol)

Ravage and Powerglide like 50 million times.
Huffer however proved to be the toughest Transformer I've ever held in my life. I could shoot him out of a cannon and the only thing broken would be what ever he hit.
I'll just go ahead and say it. Huffer is the Chuck Norris of Transformers.

G1 Megatron's fusion cannon arm the first time I tried transforming him back in '84.
I remember when I got the reissue back in '02, I was so careful flipping those arms out that I was sweating.
*edit* forgot about G1 Brawn and those little arms.

I don't recall breaking any Transformers, but I sure did lose pieces! I don't know how many pieces of Piranacon I lost. Never used any other than the feet, anyway. I think I lost the powermaster companion to Slapdash. I know I lost Cloudraker, which I hated because I loved those Clones.
In WWF, I broke Brutus the Barber Beefcake's head and the Big Boss Man's arm. And our dog ate Mr. Perfect's arm. Very sad.

i broke one of those little spybots or whatever they were called. remember they were smaller than the minibots? i had the white jeep and he got totalled. i also broke crosshairs when i stepped on him in the dark

for years i had a glued joyride that couldnt transform back to alt mode. i think because he tumbled down the stairs....bummer.

That's exactly what I was going to say..I don't think I ever really broke any of my TFs but I lost peices to probably all of them...The worst though was when I was walking to a friend's house with Optimus Prime and I dropped him and the windshield part opened up flinging his hands into the grass...Well those suckers just up and disappeared...I must have spent 30 mins looking for them and they were nowhere to be seen...So from that point on my Optimus had no hands

Now GI Joe, I think almost all of them were missing their thumbs and crotches...But I used to unscrew all their parts anyway so I could reassemble them randomly to create mutant Joes...

Too many things to count from various toy lines, but certainly Sideswipe and Red Alert. They're arms aren't too strong.
Also, I was a chewer. I chewed many a feet off of Star Wars figures.....

The leg on my G1 Prime broke off. I sent it back to Hasbro in it's retail box. Sadly, they sent a new one back in a brown cardboard box.

i broke the arm off my G1 Downshift about a year and a half ago, and I'm in my 30's. So that sucks. The only toy I remember breaking when i was a kid was one of Kickback's legs. Snapped right off.

No breakages that I remember, but Sinnertwin's fist somehow broke with no provocation, and Roadblock suffered from GPS. Sad. My Micromaster Air Force patrol once joined me for a bath and ended up with slightly rusty screws.

I broke G1 Grimlock's T-Rex chest and arm piece that covered half his face. I don't remember how it happened, but I remember trying to repair it unsuccessfully about 300 different ways.
I lost one of Thundercracker's wings only a few months after I got him. I had a reoccurring dream for years where I miraculously found the wing in a box in my garage. I searched everywhere for that wing and never found it. That missing wing haunted me for a long time.

G2 red Snarl. Its leg broke the day I bought it, so I could bring it back to the store and switch it to a laserrod.
G1 eu edition Onslaught. Its arms broke off, both of them.
As I know, both of these problems are typical for these figures, I encountered a lot of figures with these.

Jazz and the Fairlday moulds - their windshields were only connected to the robot head via a thin tab of painted clear plastic, which was prone to snapping.
Sinnertwin's robot head snapped off after once trying to pull him out of Metroplex's arm. In fact, my copy of Metroplex still has Sinnertwin's decapitated head stuck in the socket of its right arm!
Oh, and a couple of my headmaster heads (Gort, Grax)are missing their arms. It was hard to pose the arms because they had square shoulders, which put pressure on the joint every time you rotated the arms.

My G1 Optimus Prime (which I still have), both smokestacks are broken, as are the trailer door tabs, and the roller-launch tab. Also the mechanical arm. He's also lost a fist, and the hosepipe assmbly.
G1 Dreadwind - I once transformed him without the engine in place, now there's a stress mark in the grey plastic where the tail fin part bent and he doesn't need the engine in place to transform any more. I'm tempted to try heating that up and straightening it out.
My G1 Octane, although not broken, has long since lost his tail fin / shield; playing with him on a hill outside my house, it vanished into the foliage never to be seen again

Galactic Man - broken trigger and gun arm. Dad fixed them, though, and GM is now there on my shelf as Shockwave

The only G1 TFs that escaped my childhood unscathed are the little guys: BB, Huffer, Brawn, Cosmos, Powerglide, etc. All of my larger TFs ended up either broken or lost. It wasn't that I didn't take care of my toys as a kid; it was the fact that I loved my TFs and took them everywhere to play with, and they were bound to suffer the consequences of all that play time.

Sludge - bottom jam
Grimlock - dino head (popped off, into a bush, never seen again)
Shrapnel - chromed antannea
Metroplex - broke in half (fight with voltron, blazing sword attack... I still remember!)
Magnus - springs in legs fubar, stayed in cab position 24/7
Eject - decapitation
Jazz - doors
Jetfire - everything
Scores more I'm sure. I was rough. Those stand out as ones that pissed me off.

O Broke my G1 Thundercracker. All that is left of him is his diecast Chest section, and yes I still have it.
I Also did away with Nautilator's Robot Arms. But I did not break them, I removed them, by opening him up.
I also broke a few of my Micromasters.
Specifically the base sections of Terror-Tread/Cement-Head and
Retro/Surge.

That toy is a bloody nightmare. I broke two when I was a kid.
Heres from what I remember breaking in my childhood -
G1 Megatron (torso - but my brother, 15 years my senior did it)
G1 Prime (both arms)
G1 Sideswipe (side windows)
G1 Red Alert (side windows, roof)
G1 Jetfire (both arms)
G1 Jazz (torso)
G1 Swerve (melted legs by being too close to heater)
G1 Getaway (melted back by being too close to heater)
G1 Powermaster Prime (transforming with HI-Q)
G1 Pretender Starscream (clips for wings)
G1 Onslaught (both arms, twice)
G1 Action Master Skyfall
G1\G2 Clench (one of the sholders\truck fronts came off - which pisses the hell out of me since it's one of my most loved G1 toys, alongside G1 Stalker)
G1 Cyclonus (arms too worn to reattach)
And that's just from memory

It would probably be easier to come up with ones that didn't wind up with some form of breakage. Like my G1 Onslaught. I had no idea that one was considered a problem figure, as I never have had any problems with mine. It probably helps that it was fairly late in my youth that I got.
Speaking of problem figures, the Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen mold. I had all three figures, and all three wound up with broken off windshields, even though I was very careful with the other two once the first one broke. Of course, everyone I knew as a kid with any of those three wound up with the same break. It was just a design flaw, I guess.
My g1 Prime is fine himself (other than being very worn and missing a fist, but no breaks) but his trailer is another story. Someone must've set something heavy on top of it in base mode one time when I had it sitting in a box, because one day I just found the blue robot thingy snapped off. On top of that, the back won't stay shut in truck mode, I had to tape it shut.
A lot of the ones that are broken were the result of my habit of taking them apart to see how they worked. Sometimes they never quite went back together right. That's how my g1 Jetfire wound up with a busted front landing gear.

Onslaught as in the Combaticon leader? What was the problem with him? I had him as a kid, and don't recall ever having any issues with him.

I didn't break any, cos I respected them. A pin came out of Astrotrain and although I put the train part it was holding in a safe place it still disappoeared. Megatron is very loose and his stickers have worn off but other than that, they're in mint condition. And I played with my TFs A LOT.

Most of mine were broken. It's probably the age I was when I had them, and the fact that if I didn't break them, my younger brothers probably did.
Smokescreen was the first real transformer I had(everything before that was gobots). I don't remember breaking him, but he went missing for ages. Eventually I found him up in in the secret compartment of my treehouse, and he was in bad shape. Peeling stickers, chipped paint, and snapped off windshield.
Powermaster Prime lost some crucial pieces: his head, and HiQ.
I'm just glad for the few that made it through unscathed, like my mint in box Overlord.

From the many UK-based fans (myself included) that I've spoken to and judging by what the US-based fans say, I'm begining to believe that the EU\UK editions of Onslaught were prone to snapping on the joint where the shoulders meet the arms.
And trust me, I treated my combiners like they were made of china. They were probably among my fave toys when I was little - which is probably why after 16\17 years I've still got all 4 (Defensor, Motormaster, Bruticus, Superion) on display.
