.
So what are the chances of getting a Premium Series again.

I was kinda mad when I had to go buy the same figures all over again. I'd rather Hasbro do them right the first time but then they wouldn't make as much money.

I bet they do a Premium Devastator...

What's the difference between premium and the fact they're putting out many of the same molds with a paint mod or weapon change?

I'd say that it depends.

I suspect repaint waves like the "Premium" one only come about when the initial waves do very well. If everybody buys the first waves that come out, I'd wager that we'll see a premium series down the line. On the other hand, if everybody holds out, thinking there will be a later premium series, it's probably not going to be released.

If the last movie line was any indication, a premium series will probably be among the last releases, if not the last one, contingent on the success of the waves that come before it.

A long-winded way of saying: maybe... ?

Let's look at this logically. Remember that Premuium Jazz featured silver paint over the original's plain plastic? Ok. Now consider the pictures we've seen of Sideswipe and Barricade. How do you do a "premium" version of that?

You add some Allspark Blue! That makes the figures much better.

sarcasm intended.

And heres me hoping they had run out of that stuff :\

I agree with Sledge though, Sideswipe and Barricade have awesome paint jobs.. Assuming the rest of the toys from the ROTF line have equally stunning paint jobs, I honestly see no way at all that they can do Premium versions of them..

Honestly, I wasn't that upset when they did it the first time around. I'll probably still buy the toys when they first come out. If they are gonna do one, I'd want it to be Starscream, make him more silver again. But I'd live with the original versions.

Remember, The premium line only came around because the retailers wanted more movie toys because they were selling so well. As long as Hasbro keeps releasing more waves for the stores to purchase we shouldn't have to deal with the premium series this time.

But I also agree that figures like sideswipe would be hard to zazz up premium style.

UNDER WATER FALLEN ATTACK!!!!
If they do make premium series in ROTF the first must be the Fallen and Starscream. The Fallen looks so much different than the pics we just saw like a day ago. Starscream looks pretty good but just get rid of all of that stupid tattoes.

Just think. Barricade has an awful lack of paint details in his robot mode. Add a good painter and a lot of silver paint, and it would be premium-style. The buzzsaw on his arm, his legs all could use paint.
Plus, shaded windshields -like the ones on Pr Tf1 Barricade- and a license plate won't hurt that mold, either.

Sideswipe - not bad, but still, face paint, and license plate needed.

Discharge,

What I meant was that the Allspark blue they added to the "premium" movie line of figures in order to make them new and exciting was a bad idea. The characters did not have Allspark blue in the movie, hence they should not have it on the toys.
