So, I was looking to re-do some of my shelves today and I thought to myself,..self, "why not make somekind of neo-Wreckers display?"

This was what I came up with:

So, my line up consists of:

Hotshot (redeco) - Team Leader
Cliffjumper - Foward Scout
Ironhide (redeco) - Heavy Infantry
Landquake (redeco) - Siege
Quickstrike (redeco) - Tactician/Air Support
Skyblast - Logistics
Overload (redeco) - Heavy Firepower
Red Alert (redeco) - Medic
Optimus Primal (redeco) - Council

Just about every member of the team is hooked up with a mini-con targetmaster partner.

I know you could really probably replicate the acutal members of the team pretty easily, but a revamp to the roster was my idea.

I dunno, but I thought this looked pretty cool all together. Anyone else feel like showing off pictures of teams they've assembled or set up?

I came up with what i think would be an awesum team up for a Fan-comic, Jetfire and Vector Prime! The B.I.W. (Bots in White) One is a rational scientist, the other is a near mythical figure from cybertron's distant past! They are the original odd couple and together they unravel mysteries and fight the forces of unicron!

You should get your hands on a Universe version of Sunstorm.

That would make for a good opponent for that team, especially if you go with the DW take on him where he is a religious zealot who somewhat defies science.

awesome unicron trilogy wrecker teams. Looking at the bios and TV show, they'd be the type to be on the teams

Not a bad idea-i kinda like the idea of making it more that just bot vs con, to remove the factions and make it more about deep evil versus the order of the universe type stuff, kinda lovecroft-ish-

heh heh, what if lovecroft did transformers? Cthulhu Versus Unicron!!!

Can u imagine it?!

Yea, that's the idea.

They all have the cut for it, but are still relatively "fresh-meat" in terms of experience. So, that was kind of my idea, a new team to fill old roles, ala the Young Avengers.

Transmetal Inferno.

Though they may have given him some other name or such.

He looks like a devil. I'm stroking my beard in consideration.

He has power drills for hands.

If only he had robot-devil hands!

My housekeep has power drills for hands, too. I smell a live-specimen "kitbash". Where's my gene-splicer?

I bought Scavenger for $9.

He and his $8 worth of kibble are worth it.

If I can find him for a similar price, I may do the same. His facial expression just screams "Must buy!" to me.

No pic yet, but I created my own "Unicron" and "Primus" factions. They're mainly based on guys which I couldn't really place anywhere else at the time:

Unicron's Army:
Armada Uni of course, with Dead End
Mutants Soundwave-Unicron's pet
Energon Battle Ravage-Shock Troop, ground
Energon Divebomb-Shock Troop, air
Energon Cruelock-Shock Troop, Melee
Energon Insecticon-Shock Trooop, Siege Troop
Universe Nemesis Prime-General, formerly Big Convoy, with is spark corrupted by Unicron. The Matrix gives him a minor consience.
Cybertron Sideways-Espionage Agent
Universe Frostbite-Reconnasiance, Stealth Expert

Primus's Army
Primus
Universe Longhorn-Scout
Universe Magna Stampede- Melee Expert
Universe Stockade- Heavy Weapons soldiar, Drone
Energon Perceptor-Diplomatic Relations
Universe Night Slash Cheetor-General
Energon Kicker-Emmissary for Primus, his "voice" when he needs to speak to anyone in person.
Energon Highwire(Deluxe): Guardian of Kicker/Primus

Those are the only groups I've created with my current figures so far. I'd certainly add Vector Prime to Primus's army if I had him, and the Unicron Tank for Unicron's "Emmissary mode".
