TFW2005- Veteran Transformers fan Kickback is reporting on TFW2005 that the Target Animated Exclusive Shockwave (repainted in G1 colors) with Activator Bumblebee, and Voyager Sunstorm (repaint of Starscream) with Activator Ratchet are set for release on March 22nd.

It's good to keep this in mind though, some stores release these toys early, especially if you can give them the DCPI. As soon as we have the number to share, we will spread the word so our community members can hit their local Target stores to get these very interesting exclusives.

I had no clue they were even doing this. Glad i didnt get Shockwave yet. Let em rephrase that, its a good thing ive been unable to find him.

If I actually get an Animated figure for my self it would be this Shockwave. Maybe.

Whoa, March? We've had these since early January.

If I were to get Shockwave, this is the version I'd want.
Plus, I wouldn't mind having an activators Bumblebee.

I am all over this Shockwave...The purple makes all the difference in the world, imo...

so does this mean that the purple shockwave would not be for general release but only available as target exclusive?

Target exclusive in the US, unknown for Canada, probably Tesco if it comes to the UK and quite likely for at least one of the Australian chains.

There's never been a question of these being general release figures though, they've been known to be Target exclusives from the first pictures of them months ago.

If Canada were to get them, they would most likely be Zellers exclusives.

In US, only Target exclusives in these decos and in these sets.

Zellers looks to be the store carring them here in Canada, as They had the Lockdown and Ratchet exclusives. They've been shelfwarmers in my area, so I'm hoping they will still carry Shockwave and Sunstorm.

the DCPI # for these two sets will be 087-06-0105

i didn't look but I am sure its the same number as the first two sets.
But if you run that number now through a target computer and it showed them as in stock, I am pretty sure it would be the Sunstorm and Shockwave sets since the other two are sold out now.

ok, I checked, it is indeed a different DPCI number than the previous two exclusives.
