Um...he's pretty awesome, in the same kitsch way that Pepsi Convoy is.

He's cool. I'd never pay $40 for it.

Great figure and I like the metallic colors. It's a figure I'd like to have although I'm not planning on buying it.

That picture is also cool.

He's way too small and expensive for me, although I am sure some Disney collector's will snatch him up.

At first I thought these were rubbish, just didnt see the point. Now though I think they are great little oddities. I think their small size works in their favour. It brings together two big brands in a way that does both justice.

I think that I may ditch collecting main lines in favour of the more unusual items.

I just ordered both versions. :)

Yeah, nice if you like MM or Disney, but just too small. It feels like this year, it's "Honey, I shrunk the Transformers" from Takara. First, it's a smaller MP Grimlock, then it's the Alternity line, and now MM. They're all pretty interesting but too small overall.

Grimlock is still a must buy though. I hope he ships in early March... ie soon.

I'm assuming you don't have storage space issues...

You can ALWAYS find more room if you need to...

Is MP Grimlock going to be more the size of MP Starscream?

It's really unfortunate how small this guy is, considereing the price. Oh well, the girlfriend will be happy.

At that price & size I'm thinking of canceling him.

Quite the opposite-I do. That's why I only get figures/sets that I know I can display or store. At this point, I'm only focusing on key Classics/Universe figures (and their third-party add-ons) and the MP line. I may actually splurge in the Alternity Megatron, but only if it winds up looking off the charts cool once some folks post some galleries of him.

I'm kind of in the same position; I can only buy big figures if they're cool enough for me to justify it. On the other hand, small cool figures are fine.

I agree-small in some cases is actually better. However, I have a problem with small and expensive. Then they really have to kick ass.
