Seems 2 be a Decepticon redecolor of Metroplex, anyone know this guy?

I've seen that before. He's from Masterforce or Zone or something I've never seen before so pardon me for not knowing. I always liked this figure, just think his paint is cool. Plus, Metroplex is kind of one of those iconic Autobot figures, IMO, so it's nice to see some purple on his chest.

I searghet for Transformers Zone on Ebay ... so i think he must be a Zone figure.

Zone stopped after the first episode, so now it got OVA status, but the plot for the serie was postet in a magasin if i am right. So maybe this guy was a freaking destron fortress or something

I think he was supposed to be the Con leader in the series, or at least in the toy line. He comes with a micromaster and stuff, in addition to Metroplexs' entire arsenal.

the leader of the decepticons in zone is Violenjiger, a giant quintesson with 3 faces ... scary guy =)

I like that paint sceme more than Metroplex. I'm all for a Decepticon repaint of an Autobot.

He comes after Zone accually, I think around Operation Combination. :-?

Nope, he was Zone. The big decepticon in Operation Combination was Battle Gaia (along with the Sky Scorcher) and the leader was Super/Ultra Megatron.

He's from zone all right, he's also fragile as hell from all accounts I've heard. Still very cool if you like the mold.

I had one until recently when I sold him to BBTS great figure but with so mich white he yellows a lot hence the reason I sold him but it is a great figure and the colors are so much better then Metroplex

Yeah, Metroplex is real plain. I like the Metrotitan colors much better. And plus, anything a Bot mold is used as a Decepticon, I favor it.

Operation: Combination did have Battle Gaia, but another would have appeared: Scrash. We know him as Skyquake, the leader of the Predators.

Battlestars didn't really have a Destron force, Super/Ultra Megatron was the only one that appeared in the manga. However, the real enemy was a Unicron-like entity called Dark Nova, who eventually fused with Megatron to become Star Giant.
