The Energon Pub

FansProject have updated their site with a picture of concept art for the TFCon exclusive Powered Commander. This version appears to come with some extras, according to the artwork. If what the artwork is to be believed, then those lucky enough to receive this exclusive will receive shoulder missiles as well as what appears to be an energon-cube carrying case.

Also of interest is the sub-title TFCon Exclusive Version. Could we possibly see a general release of this figure sometime in the future. Seibertron.com will keep you informed!

I have a feeling that these may be hard to come by unlike the JustiToys WST TFCon exclusive G2 green slag repaint from 2 years ago that was also available via TF Source and is still available for purchase to this day. Not sure if TFCon will put a limit on the Powered Commander or not. Price may effectively do that.

Got City & Shadow Commanders myself, and this is a must get too.

I hope there's a general release after the TFCon version. BTW, when is this TFCon anyway?

Powered Convoy looks like it's shaping up to be a really nice exclusive. I love his little briefcase full of energon cubes.

Considering Toronto is only a 8 hour drive from Long Island, It seems like I will be attending TFcon for my first time.

cant see the image all i get is a BIG RED X not the first time i get this red X i dont know why but it doesnt happen when i go to tfw2005 i hate computers

I hate exclusives. Even ones I manage to snag, I don't like the fact that they are exclusive.

Nor would I. But if they do do a general release, I hope they don't include extras. Like say this version comes with the awesome energon luggage and missile launchers, but only the general release comes with the faceplate and sword from Nemesis. That would suck cause then I'd have to buy of the same toy. I know most people wouldn't do that, but I'm a bitch for completion stuff like that.

Im not a fan of exclusives, such as for those who can attend an event but I do like limited editions that everyone has access to. Its just fairer that way.

If this doesn't get out as a general release I hope they at least sell the shoulder cannons and the energon suitcase separately

looks ok i was finally able to download the image on my stupid computer to see it i would like it more if they gave you option to change his face like the evil prime version or just give him face plate to look more primeish.

shoulder cannons look nice but cybertron enrgone strage case feels like a let down to me


these computers are really making me mad cant view it on my laptopn, tfw205, or here stupid computer fault either that or fansprojects has a problem with there image hosting site.

I want this so bad but I can't get it
1. it will be expensive(from my view)
2. I am from the UK so I can't attend
3. I dont have classics prime to put it on

if anyone sells this or classics prime on ebay.co.uk for a good price, let me know

Well I'm with some others on this one. The set appears different enough color wise to be a limited version just for Torono with a wide version coming later. I'm hoping so. I suspect we'll have to wait until after April to find out though.

I would hope that Powered Convoy comes with the face plate that Shadow Commander did. At least on the side as an accessory. A bit dissapointed thats its an exclusive, but being able to afford anything custom or foreign is becoming a challenge! Can't wait to see the final product.
