In an effort to help our community and Transformers fans everywhere get the items that they want we try to roll out any piece of information that may be useful no matter how trivial it seems.

So here's the update. Earlier we received information that the two Target exclusive sets, TFA Shockwave in G1 colors with Activator Bumblebee, and TFA Sunstorm (Voyager Starscream Repaint) with Activator Ratchet would be released Sunday, March 22nd.

Some members may want to be able to check for these toys before the 22nd, or even after if they are not seeing them in store. To do that you need the DCPI, which a few members have provided, but I did not have a chance to share until today.

Here is the DCPI #.

"Sunstorm and Ratchet
DPCI# 087-06-0105
ASIN# B001L7U7CM

Shockwave and Bumblebee
DPCI# 087-06-0105
ASIN# B001L7U7DQ"

You can take these numbers to an employee with the scanner, that person can type it in, and he/she should be able to tell you whether the store has any in the stock room or not, and may offer to sell you one (depending on whether you ask before the 22nd, or after).

Thanks for the info! Does anyone know: can you check at the store yourself using one of the price scanners they have around the store? Is there some way to enter the DPCI on one of those to check the stock?

Thx for the info any idea if they will be sold through their Online store also ?

They're listed on Target's site. Whether they'll sell them online is anyone's guess, but it seems like they sell the other Voyagers for a little while before letting them pass permanently into "we'll let you know" territory.

The other exclusive two-packs (released around the holidays) say 'In Store Only' even thought they are listed on the website, I would assume these will be the same way.

It only works if the scanner has a key pad, and is not just a price scanner. Some have them, some don't. Even if you find out, you would still need to approach an employee if they are not on the sales floor.

if the scanner/price checker has a number pad on the right side you can enter the dcpi number. it will tell you the price and if they have any in the backroom.

Anyway you can middle-up the info for the Energon combiners sets, or is that asking too much of your 'sources'?

Sweet. Time to hunt down Shockwave

I like the Sunstorm and Ratchet, but not the Shickwave an Bumblebee. I also liked that Acid Storm That had the little splotches of acid on it.

Is there a pricepoint set on these guys yet? I don't want to stumble upon them by accident one day and not have enough on me to buy them

i'll be checkin for shockwave when I'm at work today!

i went to target and the told the guy with the gun that number and called stock room the stock room guy said sorry we cant sell these yet but they do have them . when i called my friend he said that he'll try to get me one on st patricks day because he believes the store will sell them then for the first time.

Awesome! I never found regular Shocky at stores for some odd reason, and now I shall find the G1 repaint.

yaaaay.....I can't wait!

Must have sunstorm... prolly not gonna get the shockwave repaint cause i dont need another bumblebee activator and i have the animated shockwave voyager. Im gonna save a get a g1 shockwave that works. But who know if i see it on a shelve i may give in doesnt eveyone hate inpluse buying?

The numbers just made me a happy hunter. Got both of these in South Canton, MI. It's relevant to add this to the thread: The helpful employee's hand scanner said "Online Only" but the Target Operator and the desk computers both said they were in the stock room. The stock room had what the Operator/desk said it did, so if you're getting help from the staff, keep this in mind!
