Weird movie toy sighting at Wal-Mart

Yesterday I was at Wal-Mart and went to see if they had any new Transformers. I don't know why they've had the same toys on the self for like 3 months now. Anyway as I suspected most of the toys I saw were the same damn toys I'd been looking at for 3 months... except for one...

To my suprise there was a single movie protoform Starscream toy sitting on the self.

Now I exspected the toys to be out by now so that's not so weird that I'd see movie toys. It's the fact that he was the ONLY toy there. There wasn't even a shelf with a price tag anywhere for movie toys. He seemed to just be sitting there like he wasn't even really from that store.

Now it's not too unuseual that a kid will bring a toy into another store and accidently leave it there but the thing is it was still in the packageing and there are no other toy stores in my area. If a kid brought that into Wal-Mart from another store he would have had to come from out of town.

What kid is going to sit in a car for 10+ miles and not open a new toy then leave it in a completly different store?

It wasn't even with the Transformers either. No Starscream was sitting in with those Ben 10 toys.

I don't know what's going on with that Starscream figure, he just seemed to appear out of thin air.

It was in disguise as a Ben 10 toy for the last 3+ months. It's what they do after all. Hide in plain sight.

The same thing happened with a Classic Devastator pack in my local WalMart.

I suspect they were purchased elsewhere, then returned to your store. WalMart will take any return if the item is sold at any WalMart store or walmart.com.

did he migrate from an endcap perhaps in pursuit of a warmer climate, and end up snugglin in with the Ben10's for warmth?

They are a hospitable peoples.

Did anyone understand any of that? I forgot my "old guy trying to act like a teenager" to "theater geek" dictionary.

21 and hell if I know. Sugar doesn't effect me anyway :P I heard it's supose to make kids hyper but I've never been hyper in my life. :P

Of course my brother's hyper all the time but he has a mental disorder.

Likewise I hardly ever eat and I'm fat, he eats everything in sight and never gains a pound. :P

Walmart will also accept returns from other(kmart, target)stores as well. I have seen at least 2 items in the toy section alone, with a kmart price tag on them. One was a board game, i dont remember the other one. Its amazing what people will try and return. I could go on and on about the stuff i have seen returned in the years i have been with walmart.
