Ok, Check this pic out.
Definately Metrotitan right? But, a few oddities.
Whats with the faction sticker? Metrotitan had a Destron Sticker.
Whats with that piece in the chest? The orb looking thing.
Metrotitan had white guns, not silver.
Whats that other grey plastic cone sitting by him?
The top pic is what he should look like as fas as I know. The bootom two pics are the figure in question.
Any ideas?

I like it too. The Silver guns look nifty.
However, I have never heard of a Metrotitan KO. Plus the applied stickers look like they were done by a kid. I'm thinking the faction sticker was added later. It looks way too crisp and bright compared to the other stickers.

I like the orb, makes me think of Gundam.

The orb looks like it should always have been there. Metroplex and titan look so bare now that I have seen them with the Orb.

Yes I know. We need orbs.
As for the chances of this being a KO, what do you think?

I think it's pretty good...did you search any databases to see if there are KO versions listed for Metrotitan??

Were Metroplex and titan original TFs, or did they come from Diaclone or Microman like so many other TFs did?
My guess would be that it is a pre-tf version, or an 80s KO.

Yes, It's a KO. I lost a bidding war on eBay about a year ago for soemthing that looked like that. The one that I was bidding on had a box very similar (to the orig) but with slight variations. The main thing about the one that I lost out on, was the silver guns. I didn't notice the orb, but that's not to say it wasn't there.

No sh*t? Well, this might be my first KO purchase ever than. I really like the Orb. I need a coupl eof them. The empty space in my Metroplex and Metrotitan's chests now seems strangely vacant.
You're 100% positive it is a KO right? Did the one you were bidding on have the same faction sticker?

The one I was bidding on had no stickers applied. However, I'm quite sure what you have is a KO. I have a pretty wide KO collection, about 1/2 my TF collection. I like KO's, the one you have says KO to me. Are there any copyright markings on it at all? Also, does it have all of the parts? Such as the shin gards/ramps, extra pieces for Sixgun or the tank? Micromaster?
Also, can you tell if the orb is molded into the plastic or did someone glue it on there? If it's molded in the plastic, then that is most assuradly a KO.

Looks like a KO for sure, the chrome plated shoulder guns kind of give it way. Lots of KOers are chrome-happy. Plus, that grey cone thing, since lots of KOs come with unusual random parts, or at least it seems that way to me.

The grey cone looks like a Silver Sharpie Marker cap. Did that come with it?

Can't answer any questions abou tit. I haven't bought it yet. I was thinking about it. Wanted some more info on it first though.
Still, that is a really nice looking KO.

I don't know the price, but if it's anywhere from $0 to $50, must get. $50-$100, I would still probably go after. $100 plus, it's a friggin' KO! However, still rare, would have to think long and hard about it. Bottom line, there is no way you could get the orig for less than $200, so, ask yourself what's it worth to you. Also, if you pass it up, let me know, I may interested in it.

That is definetly, 110% a knock off. What makes me think this? A ko tyo company had released a knock off g1 bruticus with silver chestpiece, hands, feet and head (not sure if the weapons were chromed over) and had a faction sticker quite similar to the one that I'm looking at in that picture right now.
the bruticus knockoff is of very high quality, and assuming this is the same company's work, this should also be of a decent quality.

Agreed, if I go for it, I'd probably look to be paying about 50, expecially being incomplete and all. I'll let you know if I decide to pass on it though.

hey bonger, are you the one who outbid me?
my old internet handle was kidkorrupt, i collect bootlegs and this was DEFINATELY a bootleg from china made in the late 90s. i'm not sure about the scale, but it seems like it should be 1:1. this was not made by the korean company that made the oversized bruticus.
