Why have we not seen toys of the human cast?

Hasbro gonna skip doing some Sam, Mikaela and co. toys? I know they might not be so popular but, curious..?

I wouldn't buy them, unless they came squashed under Mergatrons' heel. Seriously. If they were sold all mangaled and crushed, then I'd buy them.

I'd buy them. I think they'd be pretty cool.

They'd have to be pretty tiny to be in scale with the other toys.

I wouldn't buy them, though...

It depends how hasbro does them. If they're basically GI Joe figures with the word 'Transformers' on the box, then there wouldn't be much point to them. However, if Hasbro put them in double packs with one human character and one Transformer, then they might be worth getting in my opinion.

Yeah, the idea is making me think of G I Joe figures but useless.

There's a serious rash of self-loathing on a species scale going on in this forum.

Whatever happens, it doesn't really affect me because I live in England, so even if these were made, they'd never get released over here...

That would be why some of us import ;)

But I'm only 13 and have nowhere near enough money

P.S. Meverix take a look at the disgruntled brits thread, its a good laugh and a decent place to have a go at Hasbro UK

I'm well aware of it.

I guess I was lucky, I'm 16 and have access to eBay and the like, that's why I'm not too bothered about things that wont get released here (after a while you get fed up of putting up with it and get active).

And I think Hasbro might be a lot more interested in good marketing in Britain. The film is being released here, and they'll want to capitalise on the advertising it'll give their products. The Classics did a good job of coming out here in good numbers and good time. So we might just get lucky with the movie.

Same with Michigan.....I gotta wait sometimes up to 2 months before I can find anything. :-P

Scaling of human figures would be a mess. The tfs are bad enough for scaling as it is.
I wouldn't buy them though.
I like TRANSFORMERS :P

I'm UK, I'm 17, and yet I still can't import. As soon as I get a job, my room will be filled.

I think the real reason we're not getting human figures is that nobody wants to shell out for them. They'd be pretty nice as driver figures for Alternator-esque versions of Movie Bumblebee, but past that, I can't really see how they'd manage to get anyone to buy them instead of the robots.

See, I think it'd be neat to have small figures that came with Bumblebee of Spike and Mikaela (maybe one with both BB Versions). Sort of like how Frenzy is incorporated into Barricade (haha, Spike tucked into the grille of Bumblebee's vehicle mode). I mean, doesn't the voyager class Optimus come with a little cowboy figure?

I would probably pick up some deluxe sized figures of the main characters. It just seems a little silly to focus the film so much on the humans and yet only make the Transformers themselves buy-able. Granted the film is about THE TRANSFORMERS, but the humans are still very much right there.

Though really, I'd rather get mini figures of the characters who can sit by the Transformers looking neat and giving them a sense of scale when theyre in robot mode.

I was about to ask whether or not there would be human figures...

I'd buy 'em in a heartbeat.

Considering how great Hasbro is at capturing the faces of the Star Wars stars, I'm sure they'd do an insane job on Sam & Co.

Why bother with toys that are based on the humans, when there are already dozens of non transforming toys based on the transformers?

But seriously who would want a figure of Sam that is the same size as their Bumblebee toy?

Right? I'm south of you, and I still haven't seen a Classics Devastator anywhere. I had to go the Walmart.com route to get him...

These seem extremely pointless, but, hey - they made the human characters from the Jurassic Park movies...

Yea the size of the figure would be kind of weird. ANd if it were a straight up figure of them I dont think it would appeal to a lot of us transformers fans. I probably wouldnt get them, I wouldnt count them in my completest ways.
