New Images of ROTF Deluxe "Chromia" Bike

Yizhi521 of TF08.net has posted some new images of the blue Autobot motorcycle figure from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toyline.

Unlike previous photos of this figure, these seem to be complete with a stand for keeping the figure upright in robot mode, as the "wheel-foot" would likely lead to balance issues.

The toy is currently being referred to as "Chromia" due to a listing on Amazon.jp.

Wow thats bad really really bad. Why do i have the feeling that "Arcee" is three individual bots combined and not a stand alone character? Yeah this movie is going to suck hard.

For once, I want to chime in after posting a story...

I really do like the look of this figure. I'm really looking forward to the Biker Chicks, even though I'm getting sick of the overused "wheel-for-feet" thing going on in ROTF and the pink one looks like it's got a giant tumor on its back...

... Still, I think the engineering on this toy looks needlessly complicated, and if it was that difficult to do a deluxe class figure - I guess that means we can rule out any other incarnations of these characters... Can these designs even be done in a Legends or FABS size?

Interesting... I'll wait to pass judgement on it and the character when the movie's released.

im not really sure what im looking at there. i see an arm, a pair of shoulder pads, a gun, a head with a mustache, and i cant tell what the rest is supposed to be. is that gun built into "her" arm or is it clipped on?
i will say this, that is a great photo backdrop, i want one of those.

Would that stand come with the toy? It really looks essential and key to displaying the figure in an upright position

I'm kinda diggin' this, though I have a feeling it might be slightly mistransformed.. remember the first photos we saw of this way back?.. the whole bot was spread apart on different joints.

Oh.. and for those who arent feeling the love with the 'tache..

My fiancee did this within minutes of seeing a picture of what we now believe to be Chromia.. bless her lil cotton socks :P

I'm REALLY warming up to this now, especially since it would be so easy for stop motion, you just slide it every frame! No hassle of trying to make a walking sequence! And that gun, I love huge guns, as long as they can be held without the character toppling over. Plus, I like motorcycle bots.

I'm starting to wonder if Chromia isn't part of Arcee, and that the whole thing was a misdirection. What if we're getting a team of fembots for the movie? An actual Arcee, Chromia, and Elita-1? It's highly doubtful I'll admit, but at least possible.

I'm look at this figure and I just can't understand how it could combine with one, let alone two other figures. It boggles my mind.

Im sorry, but if this thing is properly transformed, it's bot mode looks like a hot pile of mess. IMO it just looks goofy and in parts. I will wait for more pictures, but it looks all jumbled up to me.

Wow it's... some piece a crap.

or in Mark Hamill's voice:

"Whatta piece of junk!"

Does it go .5 past lightspeed?

She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.

Just yankin' ya. The Force is weak with this one.

I'm sorry, but the best looking thing in those pictures is the Mechanical Chain Bases that serve as the backdrop. Love those things.

He's exploring the studio space, all right.

Transformers is becoming more abstract every day. For the third movie we will have robots made of crushed armchairs and molten umbrellas. Or, as Terry Pratchet would say, "very simmilar to an octopus making love to a bicycle"

That's what Ironhide said!

I haven't given up on her and the other two yet - that thing still looks hideously mistransformed.

This figure looks like **** in botmode. I agree with the wheelbot critics. Robots should have proper legs and body not some wheel.

I've just had some information leaked to me that explains these new movie designs.

It seems that the film was originally going to be titled:
"Revenge of the Fugly".

Now that's not nice. It's FUBAR, not fugly. FUBAR.

Ugly people took offense to being compared to Chromia.

 Now that I can definitely believe.
I really wanted this one. A fembot who isn't pink - even if she could have been a better shade of blue. But that robot mode is really changing my mind. The film's starting to look more like Revenge of the Wheels.

It bugs me that with so many wheels in this movie they didn't use Wheeljack. But at least they used Wheelie. This is really Revenge Of The Wheelies :P . Now all we need is that the wheelbots all speak in rhymes...

Are you sure we're talking about the Transformers movie and not the GoBots movie? :-B

I'm sure the movie look won't be bad, but the movie designs aren't that toy friendly in my opinion. It's a bad toyline IMHO.

I only bought ONE 2007 movie figure (2 if you count the one Real Gear toy I liked), versus 6 Animated figures.

I have zero plans to buy any of the 2009 movie figures at this time.
