Reprolabels.com brings you 12 excellent new sets!

But first, we'd like to apologize for our poor response time lately. This is the reason we did not have a February update. We're back on track now though - all orders placed prior to this update have been sent.

Yeah, I saw it earlier on Cybertron.ca. Now I see why he uses Sunstreakers head. Because they want you to buy a Tigertracks set too. Swap the heads and fists, apply the stickers, and boom. You got 2 new characters. Unfortunately, I don't like the Tigertracks stickers set. :? And if they would have announced this a month ago, I would have had no problem finding a Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. Now I'm gonna have to hunt them down.

Cha...doing the complete swap of the two toys takes more than that. It's simple, but involved to make sure that everything is swapped and correct.

Really? Is there a guide to doing the Tigertracks swap? 'Cause I know someone has already done it.

Like I said, not difficult, but involved.
CORRECT

Swapping all the parts out correctly means getting the small ankle joints, making sure the arms are swapped and that the panels are on the correct sides for transformation.

It also means completely disassembling the chest, swapping the gear box components and popping a pin to get Tigertracks to have that white bit above his chest piece.

Just, take them apart and get a soldering iron. Touch the iron to the pin which locks down the white part in the red car for a few seconds, then use pliars to remove the pin. Do the same for the yellow car. Then swap the grey and white brackets, reassemble.

If you don't do that, you're Tigertracks will look like this:
INCORRECT

Wow, that Hound & Ravage set looks really sharp! It ALMOST made me regret my decision to go with Henkei Hound. Almost. Then I found a gallery of Henkei Hound and I changed my mind. Now I can't wait for my Pile o' Loot to get here! Also really want a G1 Hound now. Still, the label set looks really, really nice, especially the gold stripes, and it might be worth picking up just for the Ravage details.

Cyclonus benefits much less from his set, but I love the chrome detail for Nightstick. I don't think I want to spend the money just for that though.

Tigertracks looks very strange to me-too 70's retro-not my cup of tea. I like the concept of him (and Patriot) though.

I may do one of my Cyclonus figures in the reprolabels just for nostalgia sake.

After looking at the pictures again, I don't think they did a full parts swap. The red one still has the white parts and the yellow one still has gray parts. I think they just swapped the hand and heads and gave Sunstreakers a little red.

Hound and Ravage aren't too bad. Isn't Hound supposed to have two army stars in the front?

Cylonus doesn't look good with those stickers. The figure is so great, it doesn't need stickers.

Tigertracks looks really bad (no offense), and the 'Patriot' set seems marketed towards the people who buy the Tigertracks and want something to do with the leftover parts...

The Hound/Ravage set it pure win. That might be the first set of Reprolabels I buy.

I really like the Hound set. The stickers really zazz up Ravage.

Big pass on the Cyclonus set though...

All this talk of the Classics sets.... Hoo-frickin'-ray for more G1 sets! My Deluxe Insecticons and Triggerhappy are finally getting a much-needed spruce-up! I love being able to take my G1s and make them look like new!

That said, the Classics Tigertrack is a bit...weird. A but unnecessarily flamboyant, in my opinion.

I don't think that the Classics Tigertracks needs any stickers. Just the head, and parts swap.

I agree that the stickers for Ravage are excellent. I need to check out Brawn to see if they help him.

Totally agree.

and if anyone wants to ruin their awesome red Sunstreaker, AKA Spinout, with stickers...then 'boo' to you.

(Not Bu-urns either! Boooooooo!)

The Hound/Ravage set looks great. Love the look of the Canada and Japan Patriot stickers (the US set is just too "busy" looking) and I agree that they should have done a UK set.
The Tigertracks sticker set reminds me too much of the mid-to-late '70's to early '80's air brushed vans (wizards, bears and scantily clad women and barbarians). Kinda hard to repress bad memories when stuff like that keeps jogging them.
Everything else looked pretty good. Liked the set for Brawn, only problem is I can't find a Brawn figure at any of the stores near me.

I think Tigertrack looks fine without the white piece, myself. But the needing to reverse arms and all is still true.

That Hound/Ravage set is really sweet, adds some much needed detail to an otherwise already good figure. And Patriot is a good use of those leftover kitbash bits. The hood tiger face and roof stripes are okay for Tigertrack, but the claw marks on the doors is silly. I'd gone for more stripe patterns or something.

Dangit, if I hadn't JUST ordered some stuff... oh well, next time.

Spinout, is that an official name? :p

D'oh, I placed an order just the other day... Even though I have Henkei Hound who is perfect I'd still like that set for the Ravage stickers, too bad they aren't availble seperately.

The Japan Patriot looks wicked.

If I remember correctly, Spinout was going to be Sunstreaker's name, before they decided to change it.

So, while it may not be an official name, it DOES have an official place in TF history.

And since Red Diaclone Sunstreaker actually existed before Yellow Sunstreaker, calling Red Sunstreaker Sunstreaker's original name seems very appropriate to a lot of TF fans.
