Hi,

I was looking around for BTA-01. Cheapest I have found is 60 plus shipping.

Anyone seen this puppy for less cash anywhere? I hate fidning things cheaper after I have bought them. :P

Thanks for any info, even if the info is, 50 dollars is a good price.

I sold mine for £25 which works out for about $50. There should be some online stores who still have him available as the BTA line wasn't as popular as the original BT line.

Thats what I figured. So $60 plus shipping seemed a little steep to me.

If they still have these in stock, ya'd think they'd be in closeout, or atleast cheaper than the opther BTs.

Didn't the BTA's originally sell for $50 to $55? So $60 shouldn't be too much of a stretch?

I think since ordering my Botcon sets, MP-05, MP-06, the sports labels, Revoltechs, and ehobby Mirage, I've gone into stingy mode.

I feel like paying $40 dammit!

I'm so glad my gf has o idea how much akll this costs. I think she thinks I pay like 5-10 bucks each. If she just knew the truth, lol.

Speaking about the BTA/Kiss line, whats the story behind Autolooper? All of a sudden the line strays from G1. Anyone know the story behind this?

Personally the BTA line was a little hit and miss. Both the Subaru and Viper molds seemed to be wearing out. My BTA-01 for example had seized joints in his legs as the parts were assembled when the paint was still wet. From memory BTA-02 didn't line up well in Alt mode either.

As for the continuing BT/KISS line - isn't Autolooper some sort of Earth Defence character? He appears to something similar to cannon fodder?!

Outtaluck then!

Alert rocks harder than $40.

Local shops in Orlando were selling him at $75.

I'd love to get my hands on BTA-01 and 03, as well as Autotrooper and Rodimus. I don't really need another Sunstreaker, as I have the Alt version.

I have big hopes that we will see these guys realeased as Alts along with that Rodimus we saw recently.

I actually liked the paint job of the Alt. Rodimus better than the Kiss, and I could care less about the fishing pole arm things, it looks dumb with them on only one arm, IMHO.

Agreed 100%. I could care less about Broadblast, and I too have the alt Sunstreaker. The Alt Rodimus does look much nicer to me than the Kiss. However, I do not want to miss out on Red Alert. With shipping though, he would run me almost as much as an MP, and I'm a little weary about that.

I picked up BTA-01 online (E-Bay) for $60 a while back. That seems to be the average price for him.

I have all the BTA's. Red Alert is the gen of the 3. Sunstreaker looks good in yellow but we all know about the mold issues. Blaster/Broadcast is an odd choice for Scion.

I think this highlights the case of grab it before its too late. There will no doubt be stores still selling them but I would imagine the price will just rise with time.

Autolooper is part of a sort of clone army. You get a lot of possible sticker combos to apply so if you wanted to you could fill a shelf or two with Autoloopers.

Ah that sunfortunate. I guess I'll bite the old bullet then. I'll wait till tomorrow morning. If noone perks up with a site with a better price then 60 it is.

Muswp1, does your Alert have the paint app issue that JetfireUK's did?

I had no paint issues but he takes some work to get him aligned in alt mode. Probably the best the Subaru mold has looked paint wise though.

Agreed.

Watch out though, occasionally Alert was assembled without some of the police lights on his grill.

BTA 01 has bad paint issues. I do recommend the head swap with Alt Prowl and springing for the reprolabels conversion sets. Does wonders for both figures.

How hard was the head swap to do. I suck at anything artsy.

Got a good site for instructions?

Bump, I don't want this post dispaearing just yet.

Anyone know where the instructions for the head swap can be found?

Also, anyone done the swap and not happy with the result?

Sorry, I don't know, but you find the answer to those questions in the Fan-Fiction & Artwork forum.

Good idea. I'll try in the kitbash forum.
