Peaugh has posted a video review on YouTube of the currently unknown jet from the upcoming Transformers Revenge of The Fallen toy line, last seen here. This offers a good look at the figure, and it's transformation. To see the review, click here.

I was hoping he'd have more substance to his legs than that. They ruin this guy for me.

Damn video wasnt working right for me but from what i was able to see the figure looks pretty good. The mini prime is a nice addition. I dont think its voyager though looks too big. I think its ultra class. If that is Silverbolt then im guessing hes over his fear of heights since his alt mode can fly pretty damn high.

That guy has some huge feet. It also has a lot of back-kibble. Odd.

This could have been a cool toy, but why is the "shuttle" just a gray lump of plastic? They couldn't at least paint it white, if not give it a little detail? The little mini-OP has some paint detail, so why not the shuttle?

Wouldit kill Bay or Hasbro to design something that one: does not have wheels on the feet (15 is plenty thank you) and soemthing that doesn't look like a chicken, movie will probably be good, but some of the figures are garbage

I also especially like how this guy doesn't show us what he is doing half the time, but oh well, vehicle mode looks great but robot looks lacking.

And what, pray tell, are they supposed to look like...HUMANS?????
Where exactly are the wheels supposed to go, up their backsides??

I'll direct this to everyone, what part of ALIEN ROBOTS do people not understand? This is not the 1950's and Robby the Robot has not come down in his cutesy flying disc to zap us with his alien death-ray.
I am so sick and tired of people bitching about how these toys and characters look just because they aren't able to wrap their minds around the concept that Earth is not the center of the galaxy, and Humans are not the ultimate species out there.

You know why Aliens haven't made open contact with this planet? It's not that they don't exist, it's that we aren't worth the trouble because the human race as a whole is dumb as cattle!

Just be happy if you are even able to get toys like these regardless of how they look. There are a lot of people out there who aren't that fortunate and lot's of kids who would love to have even one Legends class figure from this line.

...and the shuttle has no detail because it is on par with the D-21 drone that used to piggyback the SR-71 back in the day. At most, variations of that had 2 colors.

This is probably like incinerator and Longarm from the first movie, the vehicle mode appears in the movie, but there isn't a robot mode, and hasbro just made it to make more $$

Well for the past 25 years Transformers have traditionally looked like Humans or Humanoid. The mythology demanded that the characters look somewhat human. There are other characters in the mythology that looked more "alien" like the Quintessons for instance.

Go bots, on the other hand, looked like insect alien things.

Now lets relate this to Star Trek vulcans and how they looked like humans.

Now if we were to apply that same argument about aliens to Star Trek, then we can speculate that if Michael Bay directed the new Star Trek , Mr. Spock would probably end up looking like a goblin with long arms and legs.

Must I remind you about the Godzilla movie?

Michael Bay is a marginally-talented director / visionary- infact I think he made these characters look more mediocre than the robots of the 1950s. These characters look too much like 90s Manga Spawn designs. Too exaggerated and extreme . I still look at my Alternator figures and wonder why they couldn't use designs similiar to those for the movie.

I often wonder if Michael Bay directed a Bible-based story - would he give Jesus ninja moves, guns and turn the crucifix into a bazooka? Maybe Jesus would have a "Modern" emo hair cut.

As far as this toy goes.. the upper torso looks decent.. but the lower torso looks like the designers didn't even try. It's unimagineably lame. I agree with earlier posts that its a blessing to us traditional transformer collectors who won't have to dish-out any cash for this new line.

Universe Classics 3.0 in 2010 is where its at!!!

Yeah I really have a thing for robots wth wings...so this 'bot looks mostly ok...but the little flimsy chicken legs are aboslutely craptacular.
I don't give a you know what about how "alien" they are supposed to look when the appendages are comically lacking in bulk and articulation. This figure has a nomally proportioned upper torso, and tiny, thin little sticks for legs with canoes for feet.
If Bay (or whoever) was trying to go for a total alien look, then why are the arms, hands, hed, legs and feet where they're supposed to be?
Nope...what we have here is a Bayformer with it's traditional 65% coolness followed by 35% wtf...
I can just imagine some poor designer at Hasbro looking at sketches thinking to himself "How the Chaar are we going to make this thing work?"

I'll pass.

Word. I agree 100 percent. IMO movie toys are garbage. This shuttle thing is horrable all the way around. Hasbro is pawing this mess off on their 25th anniversary of ALL times.
Give me UNIVERSE! Lol. These movie toy designs are awful IMO. I will save a GRIP of money this summer.

This line for the most part is clearly not doing it for me. At least I will save some $ in these tough economic times. Hasbro market shares are going to suffer though me thinks. :-?

I think it's important to remember that transformers is fiction and shouldn't be constrained by making the bots look more alien for the sake of "realism", just make them look cool, it worked for them for 25 years so why mess with the formula now. Besides if they reformat their alt mode to fit in with the indigenous species why not their bot mode?

You know, I spent 20 minutes wording my original response just perfectly, I'd deleted it all twice to start over. Screw it!
I like this figure, the Mini-Prime rocks, I dig the shuttle and understand why it's included and I think the designers did a damn fine job considering what they had to work with.
I'm sick of hoping beyond hope that there are people out there capable of embracing new ideas and viewpoints. Let's face it, this is the Internet. It's the last bastion of Porn, Child Predators and brainless entertainment and the very pinnacle of human depravity.
I'd be better off looking for sunken treasure in the neighbors bird-bath.
Enjoy folks, it's all yours...

Don't Get me wrong, I'm all for new ideas, I even like the fact that they are usuing real vehicles, but I am also for a bit of nolstalgia, not just the names, but the actual character, traditionally, transformers are humanoid, and to the fact of making them more realisitic, how the hell does anyone know what realisitic is? These are giant transforming robots, Bay and Hasbro have no more any idea then you and me about what they would look like, so I go for a coolness level, and I just happen to find humanoid robots cooler. I'm not saying the whole line is crap, some of the figures look pretty cool, but as for this figure, I'm not getting him.

oh for gods sake i have had it up to here with all the Gwiners around here! It's not G1 get that through your damn heads. They're alien not human robots there's no reason why they need to have human features. I think the movie would look really stupid if they had human features. This is Mike Bays transformers not G1 fanboys wine 24/7.

Like I said, I like changes but if you make an homage that strays too far from the original, it usually turns out badly. Just look at book to movie adaptations... now in no way am I saying that the movie will be bad or all figures will be bad, it's just that some figures are horrible, tell me that the legs on this thing don't look ridiculous, I like humanoid figures because they usually turn out better(not that there hasn't been bad ones of those either). I'm a Transformers fan pure and simple, why can't people accept that other peoples opinions are opinions and not fact? They are opinions and everyone's is different.

That or that's exactly -why- they used that character with that jet, just being a normal jet with a fear of heights isn't high enough anymore!

I don't care about the new transformers looking more like aliens than humans, I just don't understand why every jet figure has to have chicken legs. It just looks gross on this guy.

I dont really have a problem with the look of the movie bots. Yes, I was annoyed when some characters lost elements that we had come to expect from them but on the whole they are interesting and different.

Some however, are just terrible and under designed. Perhaps Hasbro has two design teams and one of them has been told that their services will no longer be required at the end of this line so they have given up.

Very well put, I completely agree with you (especially with the 'dumb as cattle' and 'kids who'd kill for a legend-class TF' part)! :APPLAUSE:

I think making him big enough to hold a legends-class Optimus Prime rather than that "transform from truck into standing truck" thing would have made for an awesome sight, and might have even given extra space to fix those pontoon feet (i like the chicken legs though). Isn't that cockpit-on-the-head concept already taken by Jetfire? Well, I like it that's for sure, but final judgement comes when I'm holding the box in the store. Unpainted shuttle? No problem for me, just let me get the marker pens...
