WOw...that Starscream vehicle mode is a helluva lot better than the last one. Sweet!

Can't wait to pick up Red Alert. I picked up Universe Smokescreen today just because I just can't see myself getting the same looking one with a lighter blue from Japan.

It's funny that one of the greatest achievement in the new Starscream figure is that it can turn his head to the sides... I think I've seen that before, about 25 years ago first... :P

But the silver Cosmos looks good, will it be some kind of exclusive?

It's very nice to see that SS does actually look good in robot mode - all the previous pics made him look a bit goofy.

Either a version of Adams (Cosmos) will be released with M-Flo's new album, or they're just mentioning that Adams' image appears on the album's cover. Between this scan's quality and my poor Japanese I can't tell. I'll look at a copy of Hyper Hobby tomorrow.

There's that transforming transformers logo I mentioned.

This is all pretty cool, but did anyone else think Saturday Night Fever when they saw the Cyclonus repaint in that pose? Weeeeeeiiiiiird.

Look closer: it seems that as you turn the head the gears in the chest turn as well. That's what the image was hinting at ;)

The Starscream released 25 years ago couldn't turn his head...

For that matter, neither could Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Prowl, Ironhide (no head), the cassettes, Inferno... etc.

Actually, the only character released 25 years ago that I know could turn his head was Soundwave.

Take a look at them side-by-side. The differences are a lot more obvious then. The Henkai has a thinner white stripe, no yellow, bigger door graphics, and proper color arrangment on the front bumper. I dont want to spend the money on Henkei either but in his case it looks really nice.

Red Alert looks good. and I hope it's just the picture that makes Smokescreen's blue portions looks so light.

It'll be a shame if the last two Henkei figures are both repaints of molds that have each been used twice before. Not a bang but a whimper.
