once in a while Ill make quick and dirty digi repaints of repaints, feel free to post repaints you would like hasbro/takara to produce.
Yes I know that new figs and remoulds are better, but hasbro is going to make repaints anyway, it would be nice to point them in the right direction.


Animated Safeguard in G1 Jetfire and Skyfire colours, i think they look much better personally.
I switched their heads because I felt like it.


The combined form turned out great.


Then I tried Darkwind and Dreadwind because they make more sence as combiners.
The colors dont work as well, but they would make a nice botcon exclusive.


I was trying to figure out why I didnt like henkei sunstreaker, it turns out it was the colours, the grey didnt work for me (yes I know its a minor change, but I think he looks much better and sunstreakier)

I'm not sure if I was the one to photoshop this pic (I remember photoshopping one but this one looks like its web-found perhaps I liked it better than mine)
I would love to see this, but adding a snap on chest and/or helmet would increase the awesome by 35%

I might post more later, like Unicron into Bludgeon (im sure many exist already) and I might post some repaints other people have done that I would like to see in production.

I'd buy that in a heatbeat.

I wouldn't buy Safeguard again, but I DO like your repaint idea...And Sunstreaker looks pretty good with more yellow too...Though I would have left his feet black...

I tend to digibash molds in other colors too.

A while back I wanted Cybertron Hot-Shot repainted into the Lambo brothers, and their repaints:

I was kind of surprised it didn't show up in the Botcon lineup opposite Thunderclash (in lieu of Landshark), but I guess they decided the mold had been used too much?

I wanna see Henkei Lambor repainted as Deluge (you know him as Drench, I think).

Love the animated Dreadwing, I think the colours work really well.

Universe Onslaught should be repainted as Hardhead. I would buy that, in fact I have Frenzy Rumble creating a custom version for me as we speak.

Yesterday I was looking at Universe Acid Storm and thinking that it might be cool to repaint Takara's version of MP Starscream in a similar way.

Do you have an image of these 2 combined in their Safeguard mode? I guess in this case, Dreadwing, heh. I been considering this repaint for a long time, but I lack the knowledge to properly digibash it myself.

A black Universe Cyclonus repaint. Some say the Classic has too dark colors, I think it would look even better in black.

It's very complicated I know, since the US only got 4 out of the total 8, and with some even sharing names (thankfully not color!). Let's go, with EU on the left, US on the right:

Autobot Aquaspeeders -> Color Changers
Aquafend -> Jetstorm
Deluge -> Drench (BotCon Sideswipe uses the US G2 Drench colors)
Jetstorm -> Gobots
Speedstream -> Deluge

Decepticon Stormtroopers (EU only)

We still haven't seen many of the show-only figures, I also doubt that Razorclaw will be the big fig of that batch, so I'm still hoping.

My God, that Landmine repaint up there into G.I. Joe buggy is too awesome. A lot of those repaints up there are awesome, but that one is my fave out of the group. Too Good!

Cybertron Landmine as Omega Supreme is fantastic.

One thing that really bugged me in Armada was Hoist's minicon. You had a great Shrapnel likeness painted in orange and gray? Why???

DUDE, with a few alterations of Paint-apps, and maybe a head remold for Jetfire, that TFA Dreadwing would be great! I tell ya, if that becomes a BotCon exclusive, it will be the first time I shell out money to go and get the figures!

Love that Cybertron Optimus as Ultra Magnus. First time I wanted that mold.

That Perceptor is pure class. And a reminder of what an exercise in cruelty Legends are. Tiny repaints that tease and torment because they should have been applied to their larger brethren.

Any chance of seeing Classics Megatron as Actionmaster Treadshot?

Or Robotmasters Mirage as Dragstrip or Energon Divebomb as Banzai-tron. I'm hoping to get the last 2 commisioned soon.

Well, I don't have any photoshop skill but I make customs all day now that I'm unemployed. I make little (terrible) paint guides sometimes with paint just to keep the pieces straight once the TFs taken apart. But as for customs, years ago I made Brawn from E Strongarm with a Clocker head, Wheelie from Clocker with a Strongarm head (that was convenient I must admit,) and Trailbreaker from C Red Alert. I also made 2 different Swindles from C Swindle and C Hardtop (I know that seems redundant but part swap the purple from HT onto the yellow and a little paint and something magic happened) and the other from E Strongarm. I'm currently working on a sparetire/combiner port for "Swindlearm" plus a new Blast Off and a slightly altered Brawl for the ROTF Bruticus.

This week I'm working on Tracks from C Hot Shot, Perceptor from Signalflare, and Roadbuster from Onslaught. The C Scattorshot and E Skyblast for Topspin and Twintwist should be here by the end of the week. Oh, and the aborted Botcon Devcon from BM Mirage and earlier I decided to make Ratbat from the red Laserbeak that came with Blaster.

My fiancé thinks I'm losing it.

I still want RID Fire Convoy painted into Hot Spot/Defensor...and no the Titanium Version doesn't really work for me. It's cool, but not quite what I want!!!
