Are Human Alliance Bumblebee and Sam Alternator scale?

I originally assumed that Bumblebee was deluxe class but when I was reading up on these figures I saw somewhere that Sam was about 2.5 inches tall which would make Bumblebee bigger than I thought.
I'm not too into the movie toys but I've wanted a "Spike" figure to go with my Alts for a while and it looks like Sam may be the closest thing. I always thought an Alt scale human figure would be about 2.5-3 inches.
Does anyone know or sure what scale these figures are in? I may get BB and more of the HA figures to display

Bumblebee's Voyager class, so compare your old Ironhide or Ratchet to your Alts.

He's supposed to be voyager size from what we know.
So it should be just about in scale with Alternators.
And you bring up a good point about Sam. I wonder if Hasbro has any plans of releasing the human figures like Sam in packages of their own.
I'd like to give my alternators drivers without having to buy additional transformers for it.
I'm pretty sure there's enough room in alt Grimlock, Hound and Silverstreak to accommodate a figure, not so sure about Sideswipe though.

Looks like there may be more than one figure in this line. And maybe some of the other human figures will be sold seperatly. Apparently it has something to that effect on the package although that could just mean he'll only come with one figure.
I'm hoping they make Barricade and some kind of holographic driver.
A 1:24 scale Barricade to face off against my Alt Prowl on the shelf would be cool. This would be a nice way to see if some kind of G.I.Joe/Transformers crossover could be possible one day with smaller land vehicles.
Hound with Clutch would be a no brainer.

That doesn't fit the Human Alliance idea. I believe there are three HA figures planned, and it's not likely there will be any deceps.

Well fine. What if the Decepticons have some kind of human ally in the movie? Not sure if they do and even though I doubt it it would be cool

Aww, I wanted a Barricade and mustache man
Maybe we could get a Sideways and Alice?

Never underestimate Hasbro's desire to make a buck. Especially if its a somewhat popular character like Barricade. He's a great figure.

Note: HA Sam and HA Bumblebee are NOT the same scale (unless Sam is supposed to be like 4'6").

True this. Sam's a borderline dwarf compared to HA Bumblebee. (I love that band, Borderline Dwarf, have all their albums.) Strangely, HA Frenzy is huge compared to his HA Barricade. Hasbro hates scale figures.

Yeah I found that out last year. To be in proper scale Sam would have to be about 3 inches tall or a shade under. He's a bit to short. I always assumed they made him smaller just to fit in the car better.
I've seen online where people actually display HA Sam with Deluxe Bumblebee. Sam's probably to big for that but it doesn't look to out of place.

It was always my belief that the HA figs were oversized and the deluxe BB is in scale with HA Sam...maybe I'm wrong, but there's no way a Camaro is THAT big.

But in this case, being wrong is awesome!

No, he'd have to be well over 6 feet tall to go with the delux but I display him with those ones anyway cos it works better IMO.

I was a little shocked to see Barricade has a LOT more waist movement than I thought.
After reading reviews I assumed it was limited but after working with him a minute I found his waist turned much more.
I'm tempted to do the mod to make his hip joints fully extend but i hate doing things like that to my figures.
