TFSource.com has updated their site with the FansProject G3 trailer preorder:

http://www.tfsource.com/products/view/product_id/791/

Prices are 81.99 for a mint box, 79.99 for C9.

Also online are some cool new photos of the trailer details and the first color photos of the exterior. The new photos also reveal the purpose for the hinges at the top of the trailer-apparently some sort of "stealth" or "shield" mode.

Looks awesome!

definitely looks awesome, and about as expensive as I would have expected.

Very cool that they are going to include a dolly for the Power Commander set.

but they don't and so I won't.

That is a true statement-they're definitely slower to get product than BBTS. I guess that's the cost option that must be weighed when choosing one or the other.

I suspect we'll see the BBTS preoder up later today too.

Actually, not any more. You can choose to be charged when the produce (edit: product) arrives and is shipping out (similarly to how BBTS does it) along with grouping orders based on when everything's in stock. It's not quite as flexible as BBTS (no cancelling preorders) but it's an improvement over their past service.

They went in and manually updated an order I recently placed which was a big help to me. I was pleased.

I'm definitely going with this one from them. TFSource has been very good to me too. Their costs are lower than BBTS and when they say it's mint, they really mean mint. The MPs that I got from them scored me AFA 90s. I'd go with quality over speed. If that means I get my preorder a week later than BBTS, so be it.

It's gotten kind of creepy how quick and easy it is to do those pre-orders...

Yes... a little too easy.

I may preorder 2. This may be something to keep in a box to look at too.

EDIT: Better order soon... only 988 left at BBTS.

You know, seeing the pictures again of the weapons, I still can't help but wish that they were held in the trailer differently and that you didn't have to cut them out of their plastic trunks, a la a model kit. I wish there were individual compartments they fit into simiarly to the BTS trailer.

Everything else though is amazing and well thought out.

Huh? Which pictures "reveal" this? :???:

Have these pics been taken down, or am I just blind?

Looks like that pic was taken down. All of those extra hinges we've been speculating about, they fold down to reveal mirrors

Oooh! =P~

Like Black Arachnis said... the trailer can "disappear" into subspace! Very cool :APPLAUSE:

Preordered mine as well... really looking forward to this one, to make Optimus look complete. The weapons are a nifty addition, too (even if I am using Animated Grimlock instead of Classics, someone will surely be able to use that sword).

I know how nifty the Powered Convoy armor from TFCon looks... but to me, it just doesn't say Optimus Prime like a big honkin' trailer that turns into a field command station, with a tiny wheeled drone for good measure. :)
