More images of the upcoming Botcon 2009 "Wings Of Honor" exclusive Razorclaw figure have appeared over at HK-TF thanks to oyloveq. These high resolution images give great close up shots of the figures paint details along with the best look we've had of the figures remolded head.

Take a good look at the face in the first pic. Razorclaw has a LED light.

If that worked it's way into the final production then this will be the first Botcon figure from FP that has electronics. To my knowledge anyway.

It's going to be a very good Botcon...

The new head is nice.

... Mold is still a piece of crap though. A new head and good homage colors won't fix that.
You know what they say about polished slag is still slag. ;p

My god, when are people going to realise this mold is a piece of crap and stop re-releasing it?!
That's what, 4 times now? Original, nemesis repaint, Leo Prime and Razorclaw?

The place I work in has 4 Leo Primes that haven't budged, despite getting many other voyager class figures in over the last few weeks...

I don't like the mold at all but it just works so well with this figure. The paint details look near perfect to boot.

When are folks going to stop being a**holes and dissing a mold that was marketed for children.
It's not a "crappy" mold it just might not be a mold that you happen to appreciate. It is a darn sight better designed and built than the original Razorclaw (in my opinion) but then it also does not have to perform the same role as the original either. This thing was built for youg children and my youngest son happens to like his Leo Breaker just fine.

That having been said, I like the mold, I love the new head sculpt and the new paint scheme kick ass!
This is, from my point of view, an awsome homage to G1 Razorclaw.

Wow, that's a great looking figure! Kind of envious of those attending Botcon...

Awesome head, beautiful paint, not a good mold. Intended for kids or not, compared to some of the other molds, Animated Grimlock, Uni Inferno, or several of the classics ones and eaven some of the old Beast Wars repaints, it's a bad mold.

I never really had a problem with mold; HasTak made concessions on what would have been an Ultra Class mold if they took the original engineering and electronics into production. It really does evoke a Beast Machines asthetic, which, if you recall the story, was indeed the point; Razorclaw and a rag-tag group of Predacons where jumpstarting the war post Technorganic upgrade... with all their bodies designed to show how the upgrade had effected cybertronians physically (using existing toy molds as a base if the opportunity arose to produce them... which it has!)

Still, I'm relectant to buy this only because I do not have the other Pre-"Beast Wars" molds... :|
