Can someone please give me dcpi #'s I went to target and the guy told me with out that number he cant check the stockroom?

Just a side note - I went to Target today on my lunch break - no stock for deluxe or voyagers. However everything Universe - Ultra, Voyager and Mighty Mugs and Animated exclusives are on clearance. You stores may vary though.

Thanx I thought maybe at least the preview figs would be in, I live 2 blocks from target so it wont hurt to try.

Target- Lots of folks in the community are getting pretty itchy for the release date of the new Transformers: ROTF toy line. This Friday, according to HASBRO, is supposed to see the release of the preview figures Soundwave and Bumblebee.

S0 for the members who are out and about and who shop at Target, here are some DCPI's that you can use to either question a kind employee with or enter yourself on the price check/stock check devices.

Also member Hyper-chicken finds that everything not movie related seems to be going on clearance at the store in his area. Most of us have experienced this with Universe deluxes, but this is the first I have heard of Animated, and Mighty Muggs being on clearance as well. Check your local Target as clearance prices, and items vary.

Generally, Target will not sell merch out of the back room unless there is a shelf location for it. Some stores will set the preview endcaps later than others. Hey, it's worth a shot, though, to see if the employees know that!

Ask the guy who does the sports section or the Bikes. Usually not going to know Street Dates or not care. If you go in around 6 PM the Backroom shift has often ended for the day and there will just be random people pulling stuff.

If you find someone Sparky and twenty somthing and maybe Blond working in the clothing section near the back doors they might be keen to show off that they can pull stuff just as well as the boys can.

Also, Have a child with you if at all possible. They will frown on Fat Guy with Beard buying all the toys, but Fat Guy with beard buying all the toys for hopeful looking 8 year old works better (Not that im assuming everyone here is a fat guy with a beard, but you know the stereotype as well as I do.

Also if you get as far as the Snarky back room guy showing you the case with the street date printed on the side and saying "Sorry mate, No way" Money works. Targets been cutting a lot of hours with the duff economy and a few dead presidents would be hard to refuse.
(I don't work there any more, hence the willingness to share the secrets, but I gotta look out for my boys!)

Anyway, Ill be swinging by tonight when my mates running the back room and my other mates running the checklanes and getting whatever I need.

A couple confusing things:

-What is "087-06-0131 TF MV2 Robot Hero Scene"? Is it a multi-pack of RH figs in a bacground-scene display box?
-There are 2 combiner references, one says "TF MV2 Combiners", the other says "TRA Combiner TF MV2". Are these separate codes for Bruticus and Superion?

Not sure how I'm gonna pay for all this stuff...

I checked yesterday and there were no preview figures only the main line. Every store was like that. If you want ti check walmart here is Soundwaves UPC and the walmart code for the preview figures. Im going to check again on friday. Hopefully they'll be in finally.

EDIT: None of the store will sell the main ROTF line. If your lucky youll get some one nice and they'll scan another figure for you. Thats how i got some of the first movie figures early last time. Then again i knew the guy who helped me out. Try it any way could still work.

so what if you dont know someone on the inside and dont know any of those codes which i dont get thier purpose besides thats the code in the store's product pc and also does this mean that only Bumbble Bee and Soundwave are out but the rest isn't until the 25th or 30th?

I went to target and walmart neither had preview figs yet. The gut at target said there may be a delay because they need to sell off the animated to make room for movie figs a.k.a. they are not allowed to but thing out if there is no room. I did see a pallet of hasbro toy cases near the back by restrooms but when i got close to see what is was the lady told me there not for sale dont ask.

Good thing I work on friday so I can grab Bumblebee. Btw to those who are looking for rotf stuff early at target not many of them have stuff in the back yet. If they do the backroom people havn't scaned it in yet. They keep the street dated shippments away from the regular stock so most stores won't even have backroom locations yet.

Now I know why my friend sees thing when he works overnight and when I go I cant find them.

man i went to my target today and i had no luck, all i saw were a few Revenge of the Fallen robot heroes. i asked the manager and he said that he has not seen any of the figures, and he didn't think they were getting any for another month. God i hate my target

My friend who works at target told me today that the only rotf figs target has are the robot heroes. The boxes of other stuff they had were sent back to the big wherehouse untill they sell all the remaining animated line.
When I asked the guy at walmart this he basicly told me the same thing.
So i just preorded the bumblebee and soundwave and will wait till they arrive at my house.

BTW: you are limited to 3 preorder bumblebees at TRU , guess they dont wanna have the same problem as 07 when you had to basically fight and get to stores early to get a bumblebee

I went to 2 target stores and both employees told me that they didnt know about the previews release date, but did say, after check the DCPI numbers that, they have stock coming in on May 24th, so nothing new until the 24th of May which is a Sunday and too me, that doesnt make sense to release new toys on a Sunday!! i can see Friday or a Saturday, not sunday......does every agree??
