It's been marked down at the Howell, MI WalMart to $25.00. They had 20+.

I already decided I would pay no more than $10 for it. So this is a good start.

Well, I guess that means that the 4 other WMs in the area won't be getting them...
Until that **** company learns to distribute stock properly,(and quite letting the dealers come in and buy them right off of the pallets, so they never even see shelf time)I am personally boycotting WM Exclusives. Hell, I'll even pay the ridiculous mark-up that the online dealers are asking, rather than to go to the same store numerous times and never once see them.
I dealt with this same crap with the WM Giant-Man MLs, I'm done with WM Exclusives.

Just to point out what should be obvious here, you're adding to the same problem you're complaining about. by supporting online dealers or any other second or third party for exclusives is letting a scalper take your money from you at a mark up. You could always try Wal-mart.com or check your local sightings forums. They give you a better idea of what's out than just driving around and wasting money, time and gas.

By the by, if you want Classics Devastator, I could get one of those for you too.
And I'd give my left eye to be able to predict what TFs will be rare and which will be easy pickings and later clearanced up the pooper...I about kicked myself staring at a $9.98 Classics Jetfire at Target last week......

That's a different problem. It's not that scalpers buy up cases of exclusives at some locations and completely ignore others; Wal-Mart will ship a glut of their exclusives to some stores and none to others. Their distribution system is computerized and has some major flaws.

On CLEARANCE? I haven't even SEEN the damn thing!
RRRgh.
This is what I hate about store exclusives. They're either oversturated or impossible to find. Feast or famine. And lately, it's been way too much famine. Devastator, the first Alternators I've actually really wanted since Meister was out the first time, and ESPECIALLY Soundwave... Why can I not find things?

Never saw it in any of my local Wal-Marts... and there are 5 that I normally frequent... another blunderous hasbro distribution f-up.

Well that's no suprise. Everyone was really upset that Hasbro pulled the plug on the Classics the way they did and we already have the mold from ENergon.

everybody needs to calm down. this clearance price is only for that store, this is not a markdown that will be effective in every store. As of right now they are still 30 in my store. And just because you havent seen them in your store does not mean that your store doesnt have them, they could be saving them for movie time. my store has had them in the back for a couple of months at least, and they just put them out about a week ago, (to go along with the protoforms on a display). So, dont give up hope.

Thats great, I'm still waiting to see this at all. Not that I want it, but as much as I'm on this site, I've found a sense of satisfaction in seeing rumored product hit the shelves.
Wal-Marts slacking off in NJ!

I try not to go into Wal-mart if at all possible. As such I forget about the exclusives. Not that i care at all about this one. I just put Constructicon Maximus in the Classics display and thats good enough for me. Colors not perfect but I'm hardly over interested in paying $25 for a more accurate color scheme. Especially if I have to enter a Wal-mart to do it.

the lowered price hasn't changed my mind about not buying this set. seriously, enough repaints of non-stellar figures.
