Future Combiner All In One Set Reissues?

I'm curious if anyone has seen or know of any other Combiner sets coming out or being reissued in the US.

I've recently snatched up The Contructicon 5 in 1 set and was hoping to see some others coming like that!

Thanks!

There is nothing on the known horizon.

That set wasn't from the original era, mind you. The molds were from the Energon era 3 years back. Just letting you know ;)

I may be beating a dead horse here, but a repaint of the Seacons is still possible, even after, what, 4 years after its original annoucement? It hasn't been cancelled officially yet, so Hasbro could still be considering releasing it....

Other than the Seacons & the poor Comabticons, I don't think we'll ever see Gestalt re-issues. Besides, the Seacon re-paints done for BW2 still discluded Nautilator as did the G1 giftset. The KO's of the Gestalt's aren't that great IMO. but I'm a guy who like accurate coloring, so there.

I remember a few years ago my friend Mike who writes the Cybertronian Enquirer over at Inside Pulse mentioned that he saw on Rick Alverez's laptop a Combaticon box set but done in the G1 style with the individual figures done in their G1 colors and names.

I got a KO Devastator, and though it's not a pigment for pigment match, the colors are the same. I know what you're talking about, but it's not all KOs...

Some of us just can't afford (or find reason to spend) $500+ on a toy...

well the only combiners that can be reissued are the ones they still have the molds for.

The following sets will never be made again
-Devastator
-Superion
-Menasor
-Defensor
-Abominus
-Computron

All of these molds have been lost by takara and hasbro at some time or the other.

Now the possibility of these combiners can be reissued far as I know
-Predaking
-Piranacon
-Magnaboss
-Tripedacus
-Rail Racer
-Bruticus
-Landfill
-Basically any combiner set after the original G1

Somehow I get the feeling they still might have the aerial bots. Especially due to the use of that mold in g2, but then again I am not aware of any announcements regarding that mold anyway. so i could be wrong...

How could those molds be lost when they are KOed every Easter? Devastator, Superion, Defensor, and parts of Abominus and Menasor are quite easily found in KO forms, so why couldn't Hasbro reissue them? The Combaticons are seriously getting worn out.

Let me just say that i want an "Liokaiser" reissue!
The original is just to expensive, if they made an Reissue to an more fair price i would grab it! Liokaiser is my favorite japan gestalt btw

I think the biggest drawback of the KO gestalts isn't thier colors but the fact that they are built like crap.

You know, in all my time around here and there, I've never heard confirmations that those molds are gone.

The Bandai molds, yes, Wheeljack & Mirage, yes, but not the combiners.

Two words: stolen molds. Or: copied molds.

Well, makes sense.

I actually wouldn't argue with a reissue Combaticon team with the Ruination mould. There were several flaws on the original mould that the retool fixed, and there were several other points on which it improved. I love the Ruination team, and I'd actually quite like to see a G1-coloured version.

And yeah, I'd also really like to see a Liokaiser reissue. I have the UK-released Autobot Rescue Force versions of Leozack, Jaruga, Killbison and Drillhorn, and worked out completely by accident that they combined. I always wanted to have the full team. A Road Caesar reissue could be quite nice too. I want at some point to fabricate combiner bits for my Motorvators...

This has me thinking, Takara has never said that they are planing on stopping the reissues. They've already done Preadaking why not the other Japanese exclusives?

Well, it might be possible to argue that, while a different figure and character, that God Neptune was a (partial) Seacons reissue. Depending on how you look at it. Maybe they will continue with gestalt reissues. I think Predaking was a one of a kind kind of reissue, having all five figures the same size. The Arielbots or whatnot might not fly so well in giftset fashion.

No pun intended.

And then, I realized we were TALKING about giftset style reissues. Whoops.
