Simply, which Classics figure is the best, include your reason.

Ramjet. He seems to be the most show accurate so far.

Bumblebee, if you have him you'll understand. :D

Jetfire. Best constructed most playable figure in the line, in my opinion. Plus, he looks friggin' awsome. You can play with him with or without his armor. He's extremely posable. Sure, his "combat helmet" looks just a bit off, but I think I can live with it.

Bumblebee's not bad. Lack of a gun is in character, but makes toy less playable, in my opinion. I just found Cliff Jumper and he looks pretty cool wielding G1 Galvatron's gun. I'll have to see if I can post a pic at some point.

Maybe when I get Ramjet, I'll change my mind, but this is as I see it. Still, I'd have to give all the figures so far three and a half stars out of four. Well, except the Starscream I have. One upper arm wasn't assembled quite right. I think there's some flash in the way or something. At any rate, it makes the right arm cannon not want to stay in place. Perhaps some day I'll fix it.

Er, I'll up what I have in order.

1- Meganerf-He is just wow, an awsome Megs even if it looks a bit funny in Gun Mode.
2- Bumblebee-Just something about him.
3-Grimlock-Mine has no arm problem, and quite frankly, I want a repaint/mold as either TM Megs or TM Dinobot.
4-Starscream-I like him, alot more than g1 version, but the Null Rays...
5-Mirage-Anorexia is a bad sign, he needs help
6-Astrotrain-1980's one blows him out of the water.

My favourite is definately Megatron,

the transformation is fantastic and it amazes me how they could fit in a decent robot mode while also making it look like a gun. its cool when in gun mode you can say "here's one arm and there's another how does it come together?

I really like both Jetfire's modes, especially the mecha looking robot mode. adding armour was a nice touch.

I'm a bit worried about eventual yellowing (it has a lot of white plastic after all), might get another jetfire when they have gone down in price and keep MISB in a dark location.

just some thoughts :-?

Jetfire because it's cartoon show and comic book accurate, and still is cool.

Gotta give my love to Skywarp. He looks like a seeker done right. Great alt mode, cartoon accurate bot mode. It's the paint apps that put him ahead of Starscream.

At first I would say I loved the job done with Hot Rod (yeah I know they have to call him Rodimus) but Skywarp and Ramjet really stand out as well.

To be honest its a tough call I haven't seen a classics figure that I really hated.

Now if they did make Cosmos as we saw in the Botcon sketches then you bet that will be my favorite retool of an old G1 character.

i dont think this can be answered "simply". It all depends on the category.

best looking deluxe is skywarp(close second with ramjet)
best looking voyager is jetfire

most poseable deluxe is mirage
most poseable voyager is prime/magnus

well those are my opinions atleast

I haven't found Ramjet yet, but I'd say my favorites thus far are Skywarp, Jetfire and Mirage, which surprised me. I wasn't really expecting much from Mirage, but was silenced when I got him.

I only have wave one so far, but of those, Bumbles wins hands down.

I'd have to say Ramjet as well, he can be posed the best of any of the deluxes, and he looks much better than SS.

The BB/CJ mold is a close second, just because it is like a mini Alternator.

Prime

Finally
For once
He's just right
He's not the biggest
He's not Fancy
He's not overwelmingly complicated
He's just the best damn soldier in this here bot's army!

He's got all the Articulation, Symetry, Gear, Looks.
He's not Superman or the Silver Surfer or the Hulk or Powered up.
He's the best there is at what he does.
He's just a soldier with a job to do.
He's just what we all strive to be on theoutside and the inside.
He's Captain America. The Super Soldier. The best of us that effortlessly draws his men's trust and faith who wades through the front line so we all know where we need to be and how we have to be.
Plain, simple, powerful and the leader because of it.

I can see that in this Classic mold.

2nd is Bumblebee.
I figured it out. Get this;
I was lookin at him standin next to the G1 original and realized this; What happens when someone becomes one with the Matrix of Leadership? The get a bit bigger, badder and get the addition of a transformable trailer! :-?

3rd is a tie between Megs
(I just needed to repaint the inside of his wings and the tis of his 2 barrels Black. All that neon was a bit much.)

& Jetfire
(just needs the antenna to fit closer & the biceps to have a pivot 360 joint. Maybe some leg armor.)

Did Ultra Magnus go through this transformation? Maybe it only applies to those true leaders, not "place holders".

Though, is there some debate on whether or not Rodimus Prime truely has a trailer? He always looked more like a 6 wheeled straight truck to me than a tractor-trailer setup.

[/nitpicking]

Leg armor for Jetfire would have been really sweet. They probably had to avoid it due to the design of the transformation (arms would be in the way.)

I have to say for me its a toss up between Megs and Jetfire there my two favorites right now.

BumbleBee, with out a shadow of a doubt, he is like a jr. alternator! He is one of the all time kick assin'-ist characters and its about time he got a little love from the designers!

Megs would be my second, i just love the guy and i ways wanted a sweet gun mode version-that also had a good robot mode, only problem is that his gun on the underneath of his arm,a big fault in my book!

It's gotta be Jetfire or Mirage. I had heard about Jetfire & I wasn't too caught up on him. But then I got him. A badass alt mode & so many guns you could shoot down a Decepticon militia? Who doesn't find that cool?!?! So many weapons it's not even funny. And then there's Mirage. I loved him when I took him outta his packaging. I didn't have G1 Mirage, but Classics made up for him. All the articluation.....I was stunned. Gotta love him.

Jetfire because this figure does an excellent job of marrying the look of the comics and the cartoon with the armor add ons of the toy into one figure.
