I strongly believe that there should be more TFs with functional scabbards.

Other than that though, this fails to excite me.

Is it just me or did those prototype pics from a few weeks back actually look better?

Yes but that's just cos they where made of clear plastic which let it look like it had a lot more detail than it actually had.

It did. This looks ugly. Why is there such a demand for this terrible Gary Stu?

He's surprisingly popular here...

Certaintly made it look more blockier.

Thought it looked like a transforming brick before-and this just confirms it. Definitely a no for me.

OMG you must be kidding me. That cannot be the final product, that's one of the worst paint apps for a special exclusive figure I've ever seen.

It looks solid, but boring.

Agreed. Hopefully Hasbro's will be better. That is assuming it makes it to production.

I'm OK with it being a bit of a brick-former.

It seems to have decent articulation (at least from what I can see in the pics).

It'll have a G1-ish feel.

I'll be happy to have this and the HasTak version for cybertron & earth modes.

Well, at least someone tried to make some of the fans happy. They failed, unfortunately, but at least someone tried.
As badly as I pushed for this character to have its own figure I wish now that it would fall off the face of the planet. There has been too much dissention amongst the ranks over him and too much B.S. fed to us from different sources about him. He's the albatross of the TF line and it needs to just dissapear. Hasbro will never follow through with his production and the 3rd party sources shouldn't either.

Didn't Hasbro say/show something about their Drift at BotCon?
I hope Hasbro's keeps the working scabbard gimmicks.

I'm still glad I ordered this, TFs with swords are awesome, TFs with 3 swords are unheard of.

I reckon Universe 3.0 will feature Blurr with a Drift repaint featuring particularly bendy swords.

Swords for the win!!
I guess I'm a lazy fan.. but having to put together my own toy just doesn't sound like fun to me. Too many things having the chance to go wrong.
