Well got him. He is simply awesome.
I left photo's of Prime and Jetfire combined off for now. I want to discus the figure alone first. I think he is great, not super posable but I really love the way he looks both in robot mode and in alt mode. His transformation is not to bad and is actually enjoyable. Getting his nose in alt mode not to look like a banana is a little tricky but can be done. His alt mode is a great size. Not as big as I thought, but still very big. Overall, in the top three for the ROTF line thus far.

I almost forgot, an awesome feature is that he has the broken decepticon logo instead of the autobot and even cooler is that his alt mode features the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works logo. A couple of really nice details.

I also found out he was a secrete botton on his back that makes a cool blaster /movment sound affect in robot mode. It's hidden and the instructions don't mention it and most of the reviews don't mention it either.

Cool. Where is the secret button? I will check it out when I get home.

Yeah I found that button accidentally too. It's exposed nicely in the combined mode so that seems to be what it might be intended for.

Anyway, I really love this figure as well. It's definitely a must get even by itself--the combination is just icing on the cake. Awesome alt-mode and awesome robot mode, great gimmicks, great little details, what more could one want? Yeah, he's got some kibble in both modes, but it's really not as bad as one might think.

Jetfire is the best. He owned so much in the movie.

Have yet to see this guy anywhere inmy area then again everything takes it's time gettin to San antonio Jetfire does look awesome though.. He is screaming for a custom paint job.. I already have the paints ready to go

awesome figure. i got it today and whoa, totaly kickass. way better that i was expecting. i almost passed on him but im glad i didnt! a great stand alone fig.

This guy is on my top 5 most wanted transformers list of all time , but need some help though, can someone provide the SKU and UPC numbers to me, cause theres a TRU near by my place thats suppose to be getting in a shipment of more transformers, and just wanna find out if Jetfire is on the list for me to pickup. Any help would be great and thanks to all...

I love the robot mode. The alt mode is awesome... if you're looking down on it from above. But I hate plane Transformers where the alt mode is basically a plane with a folded-up robot attached to the bottom. Then again, if I got this fig, he'll probably always be in robot mode anyway.

The paint apps on the leader figures really leave something to be desired. I'm sorta regretting getting Op and Meg's just because I will regret it if there is a premium version later... and no way i will buy both.

I may hold off on jetfire just for the chance of a better painted one down the road.

I thought the the paint aps were good. I would say not over done but sophisticated. If a premium version comes out I will get him as well.

I love the idea of a Transformer as a Blackbird jet...but the robot mode kills it for me. He's just ugly...all around ugly.

I still haven't bought any RotF toys (and very few from the first) as a main factor of TF's is the "eye candy" aspect. And the vast majority of the movie figures are far from it, save maybe the new Prime.

Can someone tell me how much head movement he has?

His head movement is limited. It moves side to side with no position stance. It is almost like a bobble head that goes side to side but not up and down. I hate to say that but it is true and you know he is such an awesome figure, the limited head movement does not bother me.

Here they are. I tried to show different ways Jetfire could be posed when combined with Optimus Prime. The pictures do not give this just, it is so much better in life. Enjoy!

A question for anyone.. Why does the website cut pictures in half? IN some of those pics all I see is the background used for the photo.. I've really been wanting to see pics of the combined mode too Also the option to right click and view picture is not available..

Just right-click the picture and select "view image".

1)He comes out in retail here (next week or so)
2)My brother pays me back my 70 bucks I handed out to some eBay seller he to whom he "bought" a ton's worth of vintage Wolverine comics off while he was overseas. It's been a week since he came back and the lazy bum hasn't yet given a cent back

The combined pics look really cool. Does Prime retain good articulation once Jetfire is combined?
