Unusual G1 toy

I have recently been going through some old boxes that have toys from when I was younger. I came across a transformers toy that resembled Ultra Magnus in color and appearance except that it had a clear straw-like thing coming out of its back. It takes batteries, and when you hold a button, and talk into the straw it changes your voice. It was made by Hasbro and says Transformers, and was made in 1989. Any idea of what I have, and if it is worth anything?

Its a tail end voice changer from the sound of it. I remember seeing them in the same dirtmall I used to get Actionmasters and Rocklords from.

I painted a rocklord dark brown and glued peanuts to it...seriously. Probably the best kitbash/repaint I've ever done.
