Recently, we were made aware that a new three-pack Toys R' Us Exclusive will become available. Box images were shared and we could see that the set would include a voyager Megatron repaint (from the first movie), a voyager ROTF Fallen, and the deluxe ROTF Soundwave in colors similar to his generation one self.

Genzhao has now posted a gallery of the boxed set, and more importantly the old-style colored Soundwave out of the package, compared to several different figures.

On the surface of an ice world lost in a deep black of space lies the wreckage of an ancient, powerful battleship. Long viewed as a sacred place by Decepticons, it represents the height of their power, and it is there that three of the evil robots meet to discuss their plans for final victory over the hatred Autobots. For the first time, The Fallen reveals himself, and openly explains the plan that will not only allow the Decepticons dominion over the Earth, but over the entire Galaxy.

Sigh. The least they could of done was make the rest of the box set a repaint. This is almost as fail as 'Autobot Strike Mission'

I just think Hasbro should have made this combo movie accurate--The Fallen accurate; frozen Megatron, G1 Soundwave not accurate. Can't understand why they aren't using ROTF Voyager Megatron.

Perhaps they're angling at a "before Megatron left in search of the AllSpark" timeline: Megatron bids his master (The Fallen) farewell, swearing to return with either the AllSpark (or at least its power), leaving Soundwave in charge of the care of his master...?

Figure in the Whirl/Bludgeon TRU repaint and these will be keeping the TF shelves toasty warm all the way to Christmastime.

You know it's strange... I actually prefer the first ROTF Soundwave to this one... The old one had a colour scheme that kinda recalled his G1 self, hinted at his old colours without going overboard... Now, I see they've gone overboard... Might look good next to other G1 styled movie repaints... but it just ain't for me.

Edit: Just realized... Grey Ravage missile? Y'know, for a more "G1 Themed" repaint... oops.

I keep going back n forth on this.

I liked the first pics that came out, then the boxed images looked like crap and now the oop shots look good to me again.

If I didn't already have the Fallen I'd be into this, but with him, without even a decent repaint and a Megs I already have, I have not enough reason to get this.

I heard it was going for $60 US. I'm not sure if that's entirely correct, but expect it to be in that range.

Not sure what to say about this 3 pack, but the G1 colors on soundwave are nice, but i agree with everyone else: Fallen should be more movie accurate in colors and hasbro should used ROFT Megatron or the Bestbuy metallic version of Megatron for this 3-pack... And from the storyline it sound like its before the first movie, just guessing though..

I can not wait till my TRU gets those in stock!

that Soundwave looks amazingly cool!! I love the redeco colors.. and I haven't gotten the Fallen yet, and why pass up a chance to get another Voyager Megatron!! this is Win all over it for me..

I suppose if you bought soundwave and the fallen individually then this doesn't work out, but if you are like me, and haven't yet bought any movie figures.. this works!!

plus not everyone bought figures from the 1st movie..maybe they missed out and are now into the hobby.. this is their chance to get a 1st movie version of Megatron..and to release this Megatron in the premium colors like the Best Buy exclusive, would devalue the BB Exclusive..

Nope, I think this set is all kinda of win for those interested in a prehistory Nemesis box set.. doesn't have any of these.. and like me, loves the new soundwave redeco better then the original release..plus that soundwave in the pics has silver paint apps!! awesome!!

Well, at least it KINDA looks like Soundwave now. But I still the think the mold is a failure. I like the idea of Soundwave being a satellite, but the alt mode looks more like some sort of Cybertronian jet than any Earth satellite I've ever seen (in pictures), and the robot mode really doesn't have any features that make me think "Soundwave" when I see him.

Blue and yellow garbage is still garbage. The Fallen is garbage too. To be honest, that Megatron isn't that bad, but not worth stomaching the other two.
