Not satisfied with Chromia's design? Thinking of holding off on buying her? Here's the mod for you. First cut out square sections of the gas tank exactly to where the little raised sections are (lay the gray bar against the tank to scribe your guide lines in) with your Dremel rotary toolor hobby knife. Then cut a section out of the frame behind the front tire. You can now fold the front of her body OVER the headlights without having to remove them and they're completely hidden! The wheel folds down against her back and she's much more movie-looking, poses better too. Best of all the cuts aren't really that noticeable in alt mode and you can't even see the front wheel cut at all.

Alternatively, if you dont want to do any modification, you can get a stand like shown in the link below or attached image from HK-TF. It actually improve the posing of Chromia.

Dude! now that Mod is freaking genius!! this is what Hasbro needs to do, they need to view forums and do modifications to their molds so in future releases, their figures are made much better..

Big question is, will the mods interfere with the combination of the 3 bikes? Great mod none the less. With this mod and some new paint it might not be half bad.

My task is even easier: i didn't buy it or plan to do it.

Has it even been confirmed that the "Elita-One/Moonracer" purple bike will have a figure? And if so, has it also been confirmed that the three figures will combine? They never combined in the movie, so why should the figures combine?

hasbro confirmed at botcon last month that the 3 bikes will combine in toy form only. The combination was dropped from the movie.

The third bike was also said to be a remold of Chromia.

The mod dosn't seem to remove too much plastic, and the parts that are removed aren't near the (what I assume to be) combination point either.

The mods won't affect the transformation because you can still clip the chest together in the original position so the headlights show on her, waist/stomach/something and no parts were replaced or removed.

Well Jin could've paid some one off, used Blackmail, Slow news day maybe? All joking aside i think mods for popular lines are normally front paged. Few weeks ago there was the one with Fallen, Breakaway & Rampage.

No matter how you mod or pose that figure, it still looks like a half-transformed half-broken toy found in the bottom of a toy chest.

Well, I already removed the lame rear fender/plate from my Chromia, so I may as well go ahead and do these mods and pick up a new one on sale to have a 'stock' bike
