not sure, but it looks like an action figure, the image has a depth that a paper model I think would not..Other wise when I went to clean it up the detailing would have blended instead of becoming more clear..

However, I did change my post to say possible photo...


Edit: I am looking at that image again, and you can clearly see it has a clear plastic cockpit..this has got to be the real deal guys..

Personally, what is going to make or break that figure for me is going to be the alt mode. If it is like the leader class jetfire where it is just a folded up robot under a plane I will most likely pass. If it is like the three masterpiece seekers I just got which have the robot modes well hidden then I will be all over this guy.

Dude, considering they have made great advancements with the newer Voyager Starscream toy, I am hopeful that this new Leader class is going to be more like the F-22, and if so, Put me down for ALL ROTF Repaints of this figure!!

That actually looks pretty legit and kind of awesome. I'm not a big fan of the Movie Starscream look but I've gotten used to it. Probably won't buy this but it still looks nice.

Looks great!! A lot less 'dorito' shaped that then voyager mold. Can't wait to see the alt-mode.

yeah if the altmode hides 90% of the kibble, this is a must buy for me as well..

I updated the title of the thread giving credit back to "Yizhi521" of TF08.net Boards. I also sited other instances where he has mentioned that this was coming down the pipeline.

I Now think this is legit..we heard this was in the works back in 2007, but they never released it, I am assuming they have fixed any issues and are almost ready to go ahead with production now..

If these really are pics of it, it likes like it'll be a glorified version of the Voyager figure.

Seibertron.com member Skywarp-2 has tipped us off about tf08.net having a photo of what could be the at BotCon09 announced Leader Class Starscream figure. If so this is our very first look at this toy.

Oh, man, Screamer is my FAVOURITE Decepticon. Please say it's true, please say it's true. I would love to have a Starscream that's in accurate scale with my Prime.

Hasbro definitely wants to produce this. It could lead to yet a whole new set of repaints and $ for them. Can we say Leader Seekers?

Dude, I'd buy them all!! this leader figure looks to finally have functional fingers and the gatling guns on the arm seem to recess and maybe rise up and pull forwards to simulate his hand held weaponry..of course I am only speculating from the image we saw, but i was never a fan of the original voyager starscream release.. and I like the voyager release, but the jet fighter mode shows his hands out the back.. this may be the one Starscream movie figure that hides almost all of the robot parts in jet mode.. we will see, but if it does accomplish this goal, I will buy all the different colored versions..

About time, now if they would make a leader class Grindor/Blackout, the voyager Blackout was weak.

This looks like something I could sink my mandibles into.

EDIT 1: They need to make Masterpiece Movie figures. I would like to see a movie Jazz figure be everything that the delux version wasn't.

With wi-fi you could post news from your PSP... Hard to get pics on there though.

looks yummy as long as he has a huge and accurate alt mode and is tall in bot mode I'm sold.

It looks great, now I can use him with Leader Prime. I hope they make a Blackout, I'm shocked they haven't already, since he's had so much screen time (compared to the other cons).

He looks good, the alternate mode will either make or break him. either that or the colors. Even so, it looks like a decent mold, poseable head, arms that can make the hands go up (the worst part of Voyager ROTF screamer). I just hope they didn't waste anytime on pointless blinking eyes and stuff this time.
