The guy who did the smaller version of MP Prime, came out with another design. This time is deluxe version of Classic Optimus Prime, also a transparent version.

No news on mass production from the maker though. But according to the thread, he still has a few more projects that he is revealing soon. :-?

Mini Classics Optimus Prime!

Just recently we reported a custom mini version of Master Piece Optimus Prime. Now Real Devastator found out that the same guy that made that figure has made a mini version of Classics Optimus Prime and has already made a crystal Convoy version of it. This new mini Classics Optimus Prime is the same size as the unproduced Deluxe Class Classics Prime but is not a direct copy of that mold as it's identical to the Voyager version.

When any of these will be available to buy is currently unknown.

This guy just took two of my absolute favorite TF's and made them mini awesomeness. Man I'm really against KO's but these look good.

Very cool to see a deluxe size version. A City Commander version to match the scale would be neat.

Even more so than the smaller MP, I fail to see the point... I mean they're kinda neat and all, but I have to imagine they'll cost you out the @$$! Not to mention if they were in the store sitting next to each other at about the same price, I would have bought the bigger version in both instances.

I'm with Kibble (to a point) I don't see the sense of urgency to buy the smaller classics KO of Optimus Prime.. I mean I love the Voyager size and scale, and I think it works for the classics characters to show that Skyfire and others are a bit larger in size..but to buy this KO at what I assume will be a high price... nah I pass..

As for the Mini Masterpiece Optimus Prime.. well that figure is just awesome!!that is exactly how the Masterpiece line up should have been done.. the Leaders should have been smaller to fit in scale with the likes of Grimlock, and so on..so I like the idea of the mini Masterpiece Optimus, and I think that who ever is producing these should do a mini Megatron..Now that would rock!

well it looks like they slightly improved the mold too.
Notice in the prototype picture that the sides of the cab are solid with transparent windows, while as classics and henkei prime have the whole side cast in transparent plastic and then painted the non window areas.

Most people wouldn't care but I wish real henkei prime was like that, the red paint doesn't match the red plastic.

I completely agree...

I love the WSTs because they are so rediculously tiny...But I don't really see any point to these...They seem to be well done but they don't serve much of a purpose...

I'm definitely going to buy MP Prime, but some improvements after all this time would be nice though - in alt mode, that is. I never liked hands and feet on Classics Prime. Why not ball joints for feet, for better poseability?

I have a feeling you'd be paying a lot more to do this than just buying NP on the second-hand market... You can get NP shipped for $30 on eBay right now. Considering it was $25+ shipping on HTS it's basically the same thing.

Very good point about the solid vs. transparent plastic.

Depending on the price and the quality of the finished product, I will most likely be getting the MP & Classic Primes. I just like the idea of a different sized version of molds I love.
