First post ever! Long time follower though.

Yeah I've been refreshing all day, unfortunately I didn't realize HST only ships to US and Canada and I'm in Sweden. Luckily I'm Canadian and I could ship it to my parents and they can just forward it to me.

Sweet, by the time I realized there was Transformers encore, Soundwave was already discontinued, now after 20+ long years of waiting I will finally have mine.

Be warned Canadian customers, shipping for me was 32 dollars and there was no option to change, my total price ended up being $92.92, not even sure if that's CAD or USD, don't care though, it was totally worth it IMO.

So they finally start shipping to Canada but only offer the most expensive of shipping methods...what a bunch of shite...

Arg, SO very tempted!!

FYI, the Burger King code BKTF09 gets you free shipping, prob more savings than 10% off, it is for me. Not sure if that will help you Canucks.

EDIT- so which version is this one, the flat chest or the double-chest? Againt with the edit- never mind, answered my own question via the Galleries- he's flat! SO TEMPTED!

I don't know, I've already placed my order so I doubt I can change, I placed my order before I even saw the 10% discount code. Don't care though, this one was on my top 5 of G1's I don't have, plus cassettes are included and considering the price they went for in the encore line I almost think I'm getting a good deal including the shipping.

ToyArena emailed me to let me know that they also have the SDCC Soundwave in stock and ready to ship.
http://toyarena.com/transformers-soundwave-universe-2009-sdcc-diego-comiccon-exclusive-25th-anniversary-figure-p-3112.html?cPath=15&osCsid=8bf2d5073b3f9c16694f02a7cd74ee6c
They also have a few EZ Devastators, turns out that it is going to be a very limited run on these things as most stores only got about 10% of their order and some shops recieved none. I know it's off topic but it's important

We are fortunate that it's listed on HTS! I really considered buying this but I already have plenty of duplicate figures of Soundwave, Laserbeak, and Ravage. I will (maybe) get my reissue of Ratbat when the Encore: #17 Cassette Big Mission 2 Set is released.

Ya know what?

I got up this morning, and I was going to order some of these exclusives. But then I realized that, I had almost no interest in all of this year's exclusives. That includes Marvel and GI Joe...

I'm not a big enough Marvel fan to get all excited about what are really nothing more than overpriced variants, a two-pack of Destros seems fail-ish to me, I don't collect Mighty Mugs, and this would be the third shot at Soundwave for everyone since 07. Now, I accept him as easily the most iconic TF ever, but I just can't get excited when I feel like I'll be seeing him again just next year...

I think Hasbro really dropped the ball at SDCC this year. Why not Titanium Soundblaster? A reissue of G1 Blaster? A new Classics/Universe redeco? Was this all they could think of???

I have to admit that I was kind of bummed about the SDCC exclusives this year myself. Soundwave is, without a doubt, my favorite Transformers toy and character. It's just a great concept and I've always love that he could interact with his cassettes as a toy. I think the SDCC set is really nice. But I wish there had been some other offerings. An exclusive Universe figure from SDCC? Even a "Soundwave: Generations" (Evolution?) package would've been awesome ... bust out the G1 mold, Machine Wars mold, Cybertron mold and the ROTF mold ... wala! Would've been even cool to have had Mighty Muggs "Nemesis Prime" just as an homage to the figures of the past from SDCC. Ah well .. the Soundwave set is really nice though and you can even put it back in the package which is a rarity for Hasbro products.

Trying to decide whether to order...SW is a nice looking, boxy G1 fig, but he's not exactly the most "fun" figure. So he'd pretty much get 10 - 15 minutes of attention and then be sent to the shelf for pretty much the rest of his existence. So at $50, that's a pretty spendy 15 minutes. But he does look quite nice... What to do, what to do...

Oh, how a 25% off, free shipping code could come in handy right now!

Ordered. Thanks for the code too!

BTW, I'm a little annoyed HTS is now charging sales tax here in AZ and just about every state now. Last few years of ordering had NO tax.
It's not like there's a HTS I can visit at the mall. Not to mention it'll still take 2 weeks to receive my order from across the country.
