The third wave of ROTF figures was released this morning, comprising of Leader Jetfire, Voyager Megatron and Mixmaster, Deluxe Mudflap, Ravage and Cannon Bumblebee, and Scout Scalpel and Dune Runner.

Those who spent 2000 yen or more on them from Bic Camera were able to get one of three exclusive Microns: Mighty Bull, Mighty Dozer and Mighty Sutra.

Since I have Saturday off for once, and since I woke early I went to Bic Camera at opening time. Already, grown men were pouring into the store grabbing Mixmasters and Megatrons. Clearly merely stacking the shelves was not enough; the staff had just left open crates of the figures on the floor. Dune Runners were vanishing fast.

I pushed to try to get all three Microns but I was told that only one per person were available and I didn't fancy store-jumping all day or coming back in elaborate disguises repeatedly, so I walked away with Mudflap, Scalpel and Mighty Bull.

That's quite hectic. When it comes to buying TFs, i'll be mellow and wait a couple weeks or even months to start buying figures, knowing that the original waves should be there, and that they could go on sale. That backfires sometimes, as I end up not getting some popular figures.

When it comes to your recent RotF acquisitions, take some pictures please!
