I just received my Alpha Trion Transformer Action Figure today! I beleive it is going to be a Botcon 2007 release. For twenty years, I've wondered why Hasbro did not release a Alpha Trion figure. The same goes for why it took so long to release the Unicron figure. And we are still also waiting for the car version of G1 Arcee too!

I'd be very interested in hearing from anyone who has thoughts on why the above mentioned were not released back when.

As for my prized Alpha Trion Figure, he is a repaint of Vector Prime from the Cybertron series. But he has the head of and face of Alpha Trion! My version is a pre-test and sadly does not include the electronic parts, but he is still a valuable part of my hugh collection!

Working on pics of my own, hopefully will have posted by tonite or tommorrow.

When I first saw this mold I felt it would make a good Alpha Trion figure. Nice score! Can't wait to (hopefully) pickup one at Botcon.

I'm mad because I won't make it to Botcon until Sunday, and by then I'm sure they'll be gone. At least I'll get my 2 primus packages, but I won't get the special gift either.

I belive I have the solution, Arcee's bot-mode don't fit to her alt-mode would never work with out changing one mode,

Alpha Trion never had an Alt-mode and wasn't considered importent.

G1 Unicron is impossible to make and they did make him back then, 2 protoes were made, both look crape and I'm shure you would have dumped him.

HollyWOOd! Keep you eyes to B.B.T.S.---They claim they will possibly have some for sell on their site when Botcon starts in June!

As long as you mentioned characters that never became toys I'm still waiting for Botanica and Optimal Megatron and really how hard is it to take Optimal Optimus repaint him, remold him without the beast mode and put Megatron's face on him?

I allmost bought Primal Prime thinking it was Megatron but then I was like "What a cheap rip off!" They even made a Titanum Version of Optimal Optimus and still no Megatron.

I want that toy but with Megatron's face and no beast mode.

not a bad repaint of VP in the style of our fave Geriatric autobot. Although a good repaint of G1 scourge could make a good Alpha

I'd forgotten about Botanica and Optimal Megatron! Those are cool too! Guess one could always put a Meg Head on the body of Optimal Optimus!

Ah yes.. The first two were complete crap but I loved the proto for the BW Neo version..

Yeah, besides the gigantic shell on his back, Neo Unicron looks pretty good.

the Neo Unicron looks like a cross between the Primus and Unicron toys that were released.

Another kick ass exclusive that'll be overpriced and I'll never get my hands on.

Apart from his enormous back shell, I really like BW Neo Unicron. I could even get over that shell as well!

I like his shell. It gives him the look of a bruser. Like he could do some damage. I'd like to see a fight between Neo Unicron and Armarda Unicron.

Takara were fools not to release that! I don't mind the shell at all I think he looks great.

Oh yeah and Alpha Trion looks great, but I know I'll never own him so meh.
