Hey new to the forum and I need all of your help! I just bought a G1 Darkwing off of ebay and recieved it today but I seem to be having some problems. After the Throttle is put into his spot, Darkwing's nose section will not flip back. I have tried having Throttle not in there and just pushing on the section but that does not do anything either! Please help me!

That's interesting. I had one as a kid and I still do and the only problems I had was with Throttle getting stuck in him and his torso not wanting to turn. In fact I still have him and his torso is permanently stuck. Never had a problem with the nose though. You might try moving his torso around and see if that helps. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

I just rotated the body but still no movement of the nose piece. In the photo on ebay the guy showed it transformed so I know that it could at one point but I am just not sure what the problem could be.

Try pushing the two black buttons where Throttle goes with your fingers while moving the front end of the plane and see if this will disengage it.

i think that the problem is is that the black buttons are broken. are the buttons supposed to always be depressed or are they supposed to go up and down because they do not go up or down with the bay that holds throttle.

Just tried it on mine. The buttons do not slide up with the platform. That is normal. I gotta ask a stupid question here, so forgive me if you've already tried this. When you lock Throttle in place, are you pulling the nose of the jet up in a way that it would flip back so the canopy is touching the top back of the plane between the tail fins? If you are trying to move it the other way as I tried at first (its been years since I transformed him!) it will never budge except to break.

Haha ya I have watched the reviews on youtube and I am pulling it the correct way. I guess I will just keep trying to do it.

The nose is always a tough one, the pegs on mine have a severe case of plastic stress, just keep wiggling and tugging until you get it, I guess.

Just got this figure too and had the same prob.
You need to take the figure apart, completely, and wd-40 the sliding mechanism inside. It's an old toy and it's simply stuck. Mine works perfectly...like it's fresh out of the box now.
Just be real aware of how everything fits back together when you're done. It's not too complicated.

This. Best intervention for him.
