Hopefully, if this figure gets a Japanese release, it'll be renamed "Backpack" there to further the connection with the Cybertron Scattorshot character.

Looks sweet. I'm indecisive about whether I should get this guy though, my rule is that I collect G1 and G1 Homages, but I really love Scattorshot, he's one of my favorite Cybertron Characters. I'll figure it out when we see pics of the final product.

It's nice to have a homage to a character who would have otherwise been doomed to obscurity. Scattorshot had real personality, so an Movieverse incarnation is more than welcome in my books!

Is it just me or does he remind anybody else of animated Sentinel Prime.

I hope he doesn't get an orange cowcatcher.

I love the armoured truck look of the alt mode! The front scoop attachment looks like it may have limited articulation.

Looks alot like the vehicle Storm Shadow and Baroness were in. From what I've seen of the trailers anyway.

That doesn't look like the Scout Scattorshot at all. It does have the ration packs and mine plow of the Cybertron Defense version, I suppose, but what it really looks like is the love child of 2007 movie's Wreckage and Dropkick. 8-}

I dig the robot mode and the vehicle mode looks wicked, its the scoop that im not keen on. Regardless im getting this when it comes out.
