The 2009 Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention is presently hold at Singapore Suntec City (14-16 August 2009).
Today I have visited this big event here for the first time. Unfortunately there are nothing much about Transformers exclusive or any upcoming release figures, however Hasbro Singapore is displaying a collection of most(if not all) incarnations of Optimus Prime as well as some Megatron various generation toys.

Surely the display has been the center of attention and many digital camera memories has been reserved for the impressive collection.

I managed to take the photos of the display for your viewing.

Thanks for these images, but Megatron on the bottom shelf is just wrong . Dang, ROTF Optimus Prime + Jetfire is huge!

That Beast Wars Optimus Primal remold looks pretty boss!

Anyone know when/where/how that specific one was released?

That's Telemocha Convoy, a repaint (yes, repaint) of Robot Masters Beast Convoy.

It has been said often recently that there has never been a better time to be a Transformers fan than right now. Interest in the Transformers brand does in fact appear to be at an all-time high and one indicator of this is the growing number of conventions all over the world which feature Transformers. Seibertron.com member Real Devastator just attended one of these conventions and had this to share on our Energon Pub Forums.

Also in progress as we speak in the United Kingdom is Auto Assembly 2009. Seibertron.com News Crew member Dead Metal is presently attending this event and will give us all a full recap in a few days.

Wow out of all those molds (excluding the prime-fire combo) i have an incarnation of each one except for 7 of them. half of that is the ROTF figures. Thats not all the Megatron & Primes either. I have a few that arent there. Cool display though. You get to see all the major versions of Prime and Megs. It would be an awesome display if they had all the Prime and Megatron molds ever made.

Not bad at all but maybe they could have included G2 hero prime, alt prime, especially g2 green Tank megs. Also the 6 inchers WW OP & Megs. Those are hasbro products too.

Edit: nvmd, it was from someones personal collection, not hasbro. The guy did a good job.

A few Meg's short of a basket but impressive none the less...

I personally always enjoy seeing stuff like this from all over the world, people in the US and Japan are by no means the only ones who are nuts about Transformers.

Wow, I would really like to that Real Devastator to putting up my mini display for Hasbro Singapore here for all to see. In all honesty, I think my collection pales greatly in comparison to what most members here have, but its really encouraging to read the comments and they definitely will keep me going strong in my quest for more Primes. Many thanks guys!

I did want to feature every one of the 100+ Primes that I own from both Hasbro and TakaraTomy, but space was an issue and Hasbro Singapore specifically mentioned about wanting only the major ones from each series (which was Voyager and Leader to be exact). It didnt stop me from sneaking in some newer Alternities and Robot Masters hehe.. Though I was asked why didnt I display the Ultra Optimus Primal and the regular Lio Convoy with Big Convoy. all I could answer was that when I had the display in my head, these 3 hold a special place in my collection and I wanted them posed in as much to scale from the cartoons as possible, although I have yet to see them 3 drawn together as a group.

Like to share one last picture with everyone here, which I just got from a fan in the Phillipines. A replica of the AllSpark fragment, which was added into the display in front of ROTF Jet Optimus.



Edit: I was happy that a member of Hasbro Singapore was agreeable to my displaying of ROTF Jet Optimus in the unofficial Fan Version. She loved it more than the official one.

Also, it's so cool that Hasbro Singapore allowed the fan mode configuration. I have my Jet Optimus set up that way too. The reversed feet position looks so much better and allows more articulation. Well, the official configuration doesn't allow any articulation of the legs, hehe.
