So eBay changed their interface around. It looks great but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get my old search back that I had saved in my favorites in IE7. I like to search worldwide for the category Transformers, not the keyword, in newest to oldest order. Do any of you have the eBay category # for Transformers? I can get it to work if I could just find the category # which I can't find on the new eBay. Thanks in advance!

I never actually knew you could search for category numbers. Best I can do is find this link

http://toys.listings.ebay.com/Action-Fi ... ngItemList

Which says the cat is 2479. Whether that means anything or not I'm unsure.

I must be viewing a test version of eBay because that link doesn't work any more for me. It just recirects me to the Action Figure category. Ugh! I can't stand this new version of eBay!!!!!!!!!!

I found a link that let me get out of their test version. I kind of wish I had taken a few screen shots to let you guys see what it's like. To be honest, I didn't really like it. I've gotten so good at using the current version that a radically different version isn't what I'm in the mood for. I don't like it. It seemed to make my user experience very difficult and nowhere near as user friendly as it is now.

You'll notice when you're on the new test version of eBay because none of your old links that you've saved will work.

Freaky. How'd you manage to get into the test version?

My favourite searches and sellers are still there. I don't know what you are referring to. Mine looks just the same as always.

Personally, I don't like how eBay keeps switching things around.

ebay.au has been really weird for me at home, it subcategorizes everything, even though most of the sub categories have incorrect products in them. For example "G1" has all the watches, belt buckles and other useless crap in it.

It makes searching for what I want extremely difficult, I too wish that ebay would go back to the old "show me everything" style.
