Please Identify! (1989 Pretender?)

Hi guys, I need your help identifying this figure. I believe it's a 1989/1990 Pretender. It says "1989 Hasbro/Takara" on it, and the smaller figure goes inside the human. Also, is that accessory on the side part of this figure, or something else?

You're quite welcome. I've found that site very useful for looking up Transformers or even *shivers* gobots that I'm unaware the names of. It lets you look them up by color...then breaks them down further til you got your match =D
