Is this in the eastern states or western states Targets? Seems to me that the western states usually gets the new stuff a few weeks late. :-?

Um, no? Bruticus is and always was outstanding.

He has full hands and feet as well.

Cool. Probably be another month or so before they start becoming common on TRU shelves in the UK given how overstocked they've been with the Aerialbot set, but put me down for two sets when they do start filtering through.

Yes it is the same DPCI Number. I went to Targets web site typed in the code from my receipt and up pop Superion. So, i don't know what to say about that. You could of been misinformed. call another Target in your area.

This was found in the mid-west namely central Illinos.

okay let's see here.. hands and feet like this:

Or Hands and Feet like this:

I have to go with the latter.. sorry CP..

the clear straight fingers and two pronged toes are not appealing to me..
plus I think he needs some kind of add on to his waist area and crotch, because Bruticus Maximus Chest is too protruding, and needs some proportions adjustment..

See, that's exactly where all this is going.

3rd party add-ons are going to become a venue for everyone to do unnecessary cosmetic surgery to every figure around.

Energon Superion was seriously flawed. Energon Bruticus isn't perfect...but he doesn't need $50 of add-ons to fix.

Sure, everyone wishes that the combiners had solid plastic, 5 finger hands and blocky feet. Welcome to 4 years ago.

I'm not arguing against debate here, nor do I think Bruticus is perfect; but what would you rather see these companies work on? Serious additions like the Rodimus upgrade? How about that pre-historic animal combiner?

Or would you rather see pricy, minor upgrades to figures that get along just fine with the addition of a small amount of imagination?

Your call.

I like Bruticus Maximus' design. I actually like the three digit hands and two-toe feet because they fit with the brutish look of the character.

However, in the context of the Universe/RotF line, I really can't stand the transparent plastic that belongs in Energon. I mean, they go to the effort of repainting the Combaticons/Destruction Team in relatively more realistic colours but leave the plastic hands/feet/weapon parts transparent? Really? That's the one detail that really baffles me. The same goes for RotF Superion. When I first saw Mykltron's Superion repaint, the hands/feet didn't bother me at all because they fit in with the rest of the colour scheme:

If the same was done for Bruticus Maximus, it would be much better. Adding a gun or cannon would be nice too. I mean, the combiner is made up of war machines. No one has a gun to spare? Come on.

Well, it is lame for Onslaught to have no gun at all.

But otherwise, using the tanks as arms gives him twin mounted cannons on each arm...

True and the hands could be used as gun-hands I suppose.

I'd like to get that set, but I already have the Energon Combaticons. I keep debating whether or not it's worth the money to pick up another set (expecially since that'll give me four versions of two molds)

i am dissapointed as much i hate these energon combiners ill still get them i dont want to have to 40 or more for energon combiner when i could get it for 30. at target & it still has not come in yet.

i dont get it gijoe is making more progress with releasing new figures in the gijoe rise of cobra series faster than transfromers yeah i will agree i would like to see an add on set for bruticus & devastator alone if there is plan in the future but for right now ill stick with him the way he is

I'm definitely excited to get this set. I like this color scheme better then the Superlink version that I have. I never saw the superion version at my target and had to order online. I'm assuming I'll have to do the same for this guy. Hawt Fiyah!!

I've got the Universe 2.0 version along with Superion(also the Universe version) around May this year. And the stores in my area do not have the ROTF boxes of these figures as well. Now Im hoping they will do a Devastator Maximus!! That would complete my collection more.

Using the tanks for arms makes BM the best of the three combiners, I think, especially if you separate the treads and swing down the center section. He gets really sweet shoulder decorations, and it helps to position the cannons parallel to the ground.

I'll pick this up and probably keep it MISB. I wish they would have swapped out one chopper for an Aerial bot jet for Blast-Off, though.

Thanks for the replay on where this was bought. This will be hard to track down, as it took forever for me to actually track down Superion in a Target.

Pro Tip: If you have a DPCI and your Target is completely out of stock on that item, *and* they don't have an arrival date, you can ask them nicely to do an inventory query at Guest Services (Customer Service Desk, usually up front) and they will give you a list of all Targets within x miles that have that item in stock, and even, sometimes, volunteer to call the other store to have one of the product pulled and taken to hold at guest services for 24 hours. For that reason alone, Target gets my business over Wal-Mart anytime I can help it. The one caveat is that if it's an assortment, they *WILL NOT* pull a specific figure for you. So, just ask for a case :-)

Are you kidding? It's unprecedented how many Transformers have been releasead in less than 3 months. I can't believe we're on wave 6 deluxes already. Hasbro has already released far more product in the last three months than they do in 12 months. I think they've released about 120 to 150+ Transformers products since BotCon. I'm sure dollar for dollar there are tons more Transformers products that have been released compared to GiJoe.
