I like ROTF Long Haul

Picked one up at WalMart today. I am far from a ROTF figure fan, just have the main characters, but I must say this is a very good figure in both modes. I got it because I figured it would look good with Classics (especially in alt mode). It does.

I wish my Walmart had Long Haul, It's one of the few ROTF figures I'm buying.

Congrats on finding one!

I keep walking by him, drooling, but I never remember to bring enough money along for the extra purchase. He's very nice looking. Me wants.

he is awesome.... but he is one of the very few TFs where i prefer him in his alt mode rather than bot mode

I like how Long Haul's robot mode makes him look kind of like the Hulk. A big ol' green brute. No purple pants, though.

He looks too humanoid and bipedal next to Rampage and Demolishor, love the figure but very un-ROTF

Both his alt and robot mode is pretty sweet =P~ , might need to pick another one up for staying in robot mode while the other stays in alt mode. On a side note, Grindor and Long Haul seems to be showing up a lot more in stores, so those that are still looking for him will prob find him. :-?

My Walmart has like 30 of them, and I got one the other day. He's a fantastic figure, he looks great. :)

He does look awefully good in both modes. Is the transformation fun? It looks like it would be a good one. I truly wish that he was Leader class, but oh well. I can't afford everything being that price!

I really like the transformation. Its not finicky or too complex like many of the movie figures are IMO. I like the double joint on his front wheels that lets them shift position slightly from bot to truck mode.

I'm also really lovin this figure...he's surprisingly large *bigger than mixmaster*...and I love the fact that he's more...traditional looking. I like the more human proportions. I also noticed a bit of Mech-alive the package failed to point out...turn his head and gears in his chest turn and move.

I really love the figure...he's nice, big, and imposing.

And...is it just me...or is his mouth open like :O

I must say that I to like him, but I have yet to be able to enjoy him to the fullest. Mine came with a hinge on his thigh/front end (I think), glued together, so I cannot transform him into truck mode, and have yet to find a replacement. Just my luck, but in bot mode, I have had no complaints, probably one of my top 3 favorites of the main line. Decent articulation, great head mold, and very bulky looking. Just cant wait to have one that I can transform.

One of my latest ROTF acquisitions, and instantly one of my favorites. He's one of the most accurate and articulate Decepticons in the toyline.

He's sufficiently bulky for a Constructicon, and very poseable. And you just gotta love the head sculpt. Green mechanical ape/bug hybrid--what's not to like? :)

I'm not sure if my Long Haul figure's the only one with this issue, but there's a small stress mark on the left rear wheel hinge (the green part). Since it's only on the inside, it doesn't look like it'll cause any structural damage. Still, anyone notice this on yours?

I just picked Long Haul up about an hour ago. He looks very good in both modes, and I really do like the transformation. It is a very nice figure in all respects. The hydraulic pistons in the arms/dump-bed are brilliant! I'm really happy I grabbed him.

One thing that bothers me, and I know there isn't much that can be done about it........but his size in alt mode is pretty damned small. It is smaller even than I expected. The deluxe size figures that are cars are as long as this dude. Sorry, just had such high hopes that I lost sight of reality.

Bottom line; This is easily one of the best figs in the RoTF line. :D

I'd buy him, if I could find him :(

I'm not excited enough about him to pay shipping, though.

This guy is definitely near the top of my ROTF want-list. Looks great in both modes, and I have strange affinity for construction vehicles. Ones with good bot modes, anyway.

Long Haul is certainly a good one. They really designed this guy well.

Who DOESN'T like him? It's my favorite ROTF figure so far.

I just noticed the other day that turning his head makes the thing in his chest rotate! Kind of pointless, since it's so subtle and unnoticeable, but a nice little detail anyway.

Like him? great! I too think he's a great toy too, though his handrails get stress marks too easily - I fiddle with mine carefully and the base of those rails have still turned white! Hasbro really, really should have used the hated flexy-plastic for those parts, what with them being so thin and all.

Yeah, I finally broke down and bought him and Sideswipe off Amazon. I bit the bullet and signed up for Amazon Prime (unlimited two-day shipping for $79 a year? Sure) last month.

I think LH may be my favorite ROTF figure so far. He's not stupidly complex, looks good in either mode, and I love the spring-action blades. I will be painting him, however, just as soon as I decide on a shade of green. That alt mode is way too realistic not to paint and weather. :D
